this is one of the most beautiful bars that i visited. for me service matters a lot more than food. i'm sure this bar has that 1000 and 10%. bar totally changed now compared to my last visit and its nice place to have goodtimewith friends. if u go there don't forget to meet mr krish the manager of rhapsody he have some crazy stuff which can make people stunned. and food and beverage menu satisfied me totally.. over all in one word. best in the city

mutton biryani - its a firing dish. great flavor but in the entire spicyness, the experience just becomes a little too much to handle

bacon fried rice with egg - very flavorful. a really well done dish. must try as well.

a greattimeis guaranteed, the service was also very good and helpful.

i definitely recommend this place for hangouts with friends. i myself want to come back here again to try some more of its dishes and drinks. one word - excellent!

i spent sometimeand downloaded zomato just to rate your bar. cause i was here last night its super worth to rate you. and the cocktails that krish makes here is the most interesting which i can say they are really tasty and can't forget the cocktail which he made for me. after getting high i still remember the name of it
"will god save the queen". staff is very friendly and they actually knows what people want before asking. & food menu amazed me totally when i saw it i rubbed my eyes and saw the prices again to reconfirm 150 rupees made to smile before ordering itself. i'm very happy visiting this place. will suggest to all my friends.

imagine a place where you can spend hours without getting bored. this is the place. although i was on a short quick visit and had a flight to catch back for mumbai.. the staff ensured it was more than quick in its service.

the goan fish curry with steamed rice was amazing and pulled beef sandwich was killer. the staff is quick and understanding and knows what goes best. trust them!!

amazing ambience and food. a must visit. finally i get to visit a place where i can feel - oh yes, this is authentic chicken. the service is also ontimeevery time. the place is neat . and yes, the music gives you a soothing experience.

from thetimei have know rhapsody, it suffered from an identity crisis. serving some fantastic italian food, it had always dabbed with event nights, the best being the jazz nights that they used to host with alliance franca-is for which, at that time, i was a regular patron. with an excellent ambiance, i have always felt that rhapsody is not doing justice to its setting and now, finally, rhapsody is trying its hand again at partying!

so every friday, saturday and even sunday (i think), they have these pub nights with a live band and karaoke and that saturday night when i was there, the crowd, though small, was in a total party mood and they lifted the night! having just started off, the crowds are yet to throng this place and for me that was a good thing! yes, i made a fool of myself behind the mic, trying to sing a song, but that was the whole idea!!!

the food was good in parts! that night they had a buffet that was quite far away from italy with chilly chicken being a part of the starters! it wasn't great! the grilled tenderloin was dry and chewy. not good. then the nice n juicy burger that was the first of the starters that was wolfed down by all of us, was followed by a cheese course. you know how much i love cheese, so i had a sample of every thing that was there and loved it with the outstanding choice of bread that you get! my friend who was the only pork eater in the group was raving and raving .......

this is probably the worst place in chennai to go to if you want to have a goodtimewith your friends. we had a terrible experience visiting this place. starting with not being greeted by a host, the place was empty and all four of us were left confused whether or not the place was open. after a while one of my friends found the manager outside the restaurant and he seemed to be running all over the place.

the food arrived super late and it tasted really odd and cold. when we requested to remake our food, our server reheated the same plate we sent back. we almost waited for 1.5 hours and we did not even receive all the starters we ordered which made us lose our appetite. so we decided to not get any main course and cancel it to go eat someplace else.

when we requested for the check, the manager ( shivam pandey) took a lot oftimediscussing with his co worker behind the bar, and came back with the bill, charging us for things we did not eat. there were 4-5 people around our table forcing us to pay and it made some of my friends really uncomfortable. this is something you would not expect from a hotel like marriot and i will recommend not to go here at all.

it's a very grand place...the cost maybe a bit high..but the overall experience is just priceless...i had a greattimethere with all my family members..and u know for a fact that we will be coming back for more and more...

as always one of the pleasant bar to spend a qualitytimewith friends to chat and have fun. visited this place after many years and still it's good. only suggestion is they have to rework on food menu.

summing up my visit to #rhapsody

the ambiance is too good.

you get to have your seat as per your preference. djing was done along with bartending and attending to customers simultaneously by ashish who said this was his baby(he is with marriott for 5 years).

also had the privilege to meet the chef dinesh kumar who explained briefly as to how the food is being prepared under his supervision. thank you chef for taking yourtimeto come and meet me prior to leaving to your home after a day long work.

dim lights coupled with some great music & calm ambiance is a plus!

food & mocktail was top class!!

what did i order?

i was initially given couple of mocktails specially prepared by ashish. one was the combination of litchi & cranberry and the other one was mango with mint leaves.

this was followed by prawn fingers (as starters). i must specifically mention about the sauce that was served along with it. trust me, i had never tasted such an awesome sauce till date.

finally, for the main course, i ordered herbal chicken pizza which was oozing with cheese and was prepared on thin crust. this is certainly the best pizza, i have had in the recent times.

p.s. they have an enviable collection of liquor sourced from various brands which will be a perfect companion to you during the weekends. do book your chauffeur to drive you back home or stay in the hotel as well 😍

was there on a non busy saturday eve! only to be found that rhapsody opens up at 6 pm. so we positioned ourselves in the restaurant to killtimeuntil 6.
we had 2 zomato gold memberships.

  
they were happy to serve the drinks at the restaurant.t-1 hours we ordered pepper chicken and baby corn mushroom salt and pepper mainly for our sides. 

  
chicken pepper fry was okayish. could have cut the chicken pieces smaller so there would have been a flavour spread. no disappointments with the taste though.
  

baby corn mushroom fry. this was the show stopper. i was never a fan of baby corns, until this moment. the baby corns were perfectly fried it went good with kingfisher. 

  
for the drinks we ordered cosmopolitan, kingfisher (2+2) in the restaurant.

  
later after 6 we moved on to rhapsody, they were courteous enough to move us along with our orders inside the bar. 
where we finished off with daiquiri, absolut raspberri (2+2)

to the downside the decrease in 1star is because of the service, there were one or no people to take our orders in the bar.

had my induction at marriott hotels. staffs were very polite and welcomed everyone with a smile. the entrance to the hotel is pretty messed up due to metro rail construction work, and that could be a turn off. otherwise, the hotel is very easy to access.

the food was pretty amazing. they had number of salads, including egg, fish, chicken and mutton. starters were really yum. brinjal fry was my favorite. it was juicy in the inside with a little bit of crunch on the outside. ghee rice had the right amount of flavor and you would not hesitate to have it twice. the fish curry was excellent, and there was no raw smell in it. every dish was properly cooked, the meat was soft and had the right amount of spices, but for the biryani. it was such a turn off, as it was very bland and the meat was very hard. it was little difficult to chew as well.

vegetarian lovers can definitely opt for this place, as they had a wide spread- paneer, mushroom, gobi, zucchini, mixed vegetable curry and what not. their kala jamun was not great as it was over cooked. they fried it a bit longer and it had a burnt taste. blueberry cake and tiramisu was such a turn on. they were rich in flavor. they also served ice cream and payasam.

staffs were really helpful and helped us with whatever we ask for. it would have been better if they acknowledge when we speak to them. initially i was wondering whether they listened to me, as they just looked at me and kept walking. eventually, i got used to that. they somehow manage to give whatever you ask for. the number of starters for non-vegetarians was very less. they could have had more sea-food other than the two fish gravies.

 a chef was in his own world, talking to a particular customer the wholetimeso loudly standing right next to us which was quiet annoying. he could have spent moretimewith other customers as well, which would have made the guests more comfortable and an opportunity for them to address these kinds of customer needs in the future. except for these minor glitches, it was a nice experience. good ambience. decent food.
