this is one of the most beautiful bars that i visited. for me service matters a lot more than food. i'm sure this bar has that 1000 and 10%. bar totally changed now compared to my last visit and its nice place to havegoodtime with friends. if u go there don't forget to meet mr krish the manager of rhapsody he have some crazy stuff which can make people stunned. and food and beverage menu satisfied me totally.. over all in one word. best in the city

it's a great place to chill with friends and have a great evening. great service by the courteous staff and agoodquality food just adds up to thegoodexperience.goodmusic just gels with the environment and the mood. kudos to rhapsody.

mutton biryani - its a firing dish. great flavor but in the entire spicyness, the experience just becomes a little too much to handle

ckn wings with bbq - excellent

grilled prawnns- the regular stuff. decent portion.

bacon fried rice with egg - very flavorful. a really well done dish. must try as well.

a great time is guaranteed, the service was also verygoodand helpful.

i definitely recommend this place for hangouts with friends. i myself want to come back here again to try some more of its dishes and drinks. one word - excellent!

ambience isgoodand enjoyed a lot. quick service and the staff is also good. the variety in food and drinks leave a lot of options. the best think i liked is "samosa tossed in schezwan sauce"

rhapsody is like any other bar in some posh hotel, with almost no crowd. the liquor options are limited. the food wasgoodthough. we ordered some japanese chicken skewers which was pretty good. the service is quick. it’s agoodoption if you want to hang out in some quiet place over a couple of drinks and have a conversation.

a place where the staff is courteous and the offers are good. friends can have agoodtime with friends,goodfood ,goodambience andgoodrange of alcohols. what else one wants. being in chennai it was agoodplace to hangout on weekends

great service and some fantastic bar food here.i was also pleasantly surprised by the great prices which were deliciously easy on the pocket. krish the manager kept us entertained with his bar skills and some amazing cocktails. it was agoodexperience overall and we'll definitely be back again. keep up thegoodwork!!

from the time i have know rhapsody, it suffered from an identity crisis. serving some fantastic italian food, it had always dabbed with event nights, the best being the jazz nights that they used to host with alliance franca-is for which, at that time, i was a regular patron. with an excellent ambiance, i have always felt that rhapsody is not doing justice to its setting and now, finally, rhapsody is trying its hand again at partying!

so every friday, saturday and even sunday (i think), they have these pub nights with a live band and karaoke and that saturday night when i was there, the crowd, though small, was in a total party mood and they lifted the night! having just started off, the crowds are yet to throng this place and for me that was agoodthing! yes, i made a fool of myself behind the mic, trying to sing a song, but that was the whole idea!!!

the food wasgoodin parts! that night they had a buffet that was quite far away from italy with chilly chicken being a part of the starters! it wasn't great! the grilled tenderloin was dry and chewy. not good. then the nice n juicy burger that was the first of the starters that was wolfed down by all of us, was followed by a cheese course. you know how much i love cheese, so i had a sample of every thing that was there and loved it with the outstanding choice of bread that you get! my friend who was the only pork eater in the group was raving and raving .......

very refreshing and a very pleasant place to have dinner.the buffet menu was quitegoodand fish served was simply superb.cafe in rhapsody was fine.

this is probably the worst place in chennai to go to if you want to have agoodtime with your friends. we had a terrible experience visiting this place. starting with not being greeted by a host, the place was empty and all four of us were left confused whether or not the place was open. after a while one of my friends found the manager outside the restaurant and he seemed to be running all over the place.

the food arrived super late and it tasted really odd and cold. when we requested to remake our food, our server reheated the same plate we sent back. we almost waited for 1.5 hours and we did not even receive all the starters we ordered which made us lose our appetite. so we decided to not get any main course and cancel it to go eat someplace else.

when we requested for the check, the manager ( shivam pandey) took a lot of time discussing with his co worker behind the bar, and came back with the bill, charging us for things we did not eat. there were 4-5 people around our table forcing us to pay and it made some of my friends really uncomfortable. this is something you would not expect from a hotel like marriot and i will recommend not to go here at all.

it was an amazing experience at rhapsody courtyard by marriott. i visited this place to unwind my weekend with some drinks andgoodfood. inspite of chef being so friendly i just asked the chef to surprise me with his signature serves.

initially i was served with prawn tempura. it was sogoodwith apt level of seasoning and chilly garlic and peanut based dip was served to compliment the dish. i personally like the dish without the dip, i felt wasabi mayo based dip would go well.

chicken vepudu with egg, an interesting fusion dish and it tasted good. initially l though it will be like a chicken roast (regular vepudu) but it was like deep fried chicken sauteed with egg, nothing wrong since it was mentioned fusion.

mutton chukka, one of the best serve of the evening, it was damn juicy withgoodlevel spiciness. the mutton perfectly cooked and the meat was well melanged with the masala. this dish should be a must order dish when you want to booze.

fish tikka was again an outstanding serve, agoodchunk of fish with drooly indian masala went so well. simple green dip gave sharp awesome taste to fish tikka. i personally love have this dish with some whisky based drink.

as a vegetarian dish, chef served salt and pepper mushroom, which was more like well seasoned info chinese recipe. it almost had manjurian touch to it.for sure it will begoodfinger food to compliment your drink

chilly panner was not my cup of tea, the panner would have been more better. now day most of restaurants in chennai serve paneer in a malai consistency. but here it was slightly on the rubbery side.

moving on to the drinks, i and my friend sticked with cocktails

flap jack, i ordered this drink because the ingredients used in this was interesting. it's a mix of orange juice with whisky, cinnamon syrup, and maple syrup. it was blend of flavours.

rhapsody sour, a simple version whisky sour with orange, and egg whites gave rich and creamy texture to the drink.

pina colada, it was not on the menu but i request the bartender to formulate the drink with the ingredients in his shelf. he said made simply an interesting drink with a twist in pinacolada, it was like normal pineapple based drink but the addition of cadamom just elevated the drink.

as a last drink we had liit, the to get our buzz levels fixed for the night. it was so perfect withgoodconcentration of liquor in it.

overall it was an amazing experience dining at rhapsody, i loved the food and drinks. food was excellent to pair with your drinks and cocktails are slightly on the concentrated zone but other flavours just engulfs it.

everything wasgood- ambience, staff, food etc. however, the place had very few people. if you are looking for a happening pub, this isn't your place.

however, if you want to go to a place where you can have some conversation with friends over drinks, then this won't disappoint.

outstanding staff. we ended up ordering a lagavulin 16. definitely not the taste that i would expect. we asked the bartender to mix it up and he was extremely helpful! ordered a pizza, prettygood- not the best though.
