delivery is disappointing. so i get a flier on my door for ray's pizza, and i think, why not, i was getting tired of dominos and everything else around here mainstream. i proceed to order for delivery, and they tell me it will take an hour. no problem. honest answer. an hour goes by...no one at the door. an hour and 15 minutes goes by. nothing. so i call the place up (which is literally 5 minutes up the street: i know since i pass it on a regular basis) and the lady on the other end is 1) rude as hell, 2) tells me that the driver just left and is taking the highway because my place is really far away. seriously? well...i figure i'll give them another 15 minutes. that time goes by, and no one is at the door. i call back and inform them that the order was placed over an hour and a half ago, she puts on the manager, and was rude, so i proceed to cancel my order. at this point, the guys says "fine" and hangs up. dude showed up at my door 5 minutes later. moral of this story? don't getdeliveryfrom ray's. the saddest part of all this, is that this was my first time ordering from them, and it was a horrible experience. also, dominos is right next door to ray's, and they deliver within 45 minutes.

worst customer service in hampton roads. ordered a pizza on sunday night @ 5:40pm, was told 45mins to an hour fordeliveryon the phone. had to repeat my address 3 times and my card number 4 times to the incompetent girl who took my phone order. at 7:15pm called back since i have yet to receive mydelivery(2.2 miles from the store). the girl on the phone said its just getting ready to leave (over 1 1/2 hours later). when i asked to talk to a manager (mike), i was told that "i was not the only customer, that's just how it is" no apology or compensation was offered. i told the manager to cancel the order, his response was "ok, no problem.. " he didn't try to keep a customer or offer anything then either. asked for a confirmation number for the refund. was told that he doesn't have it and they were going to process the refund at the end of the night. i could come in the next day and pick up a receipt.. what?? are you serious. after some arguing, he did the refund over the phone (or so he said) and have me a 2 digit number... sounds sketchy. with all the pizza places in the area, this is by far the worst customer service i have ever received. they do not care about their customers.

very good ny style pizza...good prices anddeliverywas pretty fast
