delivery is disappointing. so i get a flier on my door for ray's pizza, and i think, why not, i was getting tired of dominos and everything else around here mainstream. i proceed to order for delivery, and they tell me it will take an hour. no problem. honest answer. an hour goes by...no one at the door. an hour and 15 minutes goes by. nothing. so i call the place up (which is literally 5 minutes up the street: i know since i pass it on a regular basis) and the lady on the other end is 1) rude as hell, 2) tells me that the driver just left and is taking the highway because my place is really far away. seriously? well...i figure i'll give them another 15 minutes. that time goes by, and no one is at the door. i call back and inform them that the order was placed over an hour and a half ago, she puts on the manager, and was rude, so i proceed to cancel my order. at this point, the guys says "fine" and hangs up. dude showed up at my door 5 minutes later. moral of this story? don't get delivery from ray's. the saddest part of all this, is that this was my first time ordering from them, and it was a horrible experience. also, dominos is right next door to ray's, and they deliver within 45 minutes.
