this restaurant is located in jersey city. we were a group of four and went there last month. the ambiance of the place was nice. 

the chicken biryani gives you the authentic indian taste. the naans were properly cooked and the curries tasted well. 

totally recommended if you're looking for tasty indian food in jersey city.

i loved the decor mandala ceiling cool light fixtures.. i wanted to leave with the kamasutra bathroom door. the waitress was sassy.
unfortunately the food was not really good. it was like messing up indian food & throwing a curveball with american twist..(we like our indian classics just fine thank you) missing the sauces and all those spices and chutneys.

nice ambience.. i love the tandoor/kebab platter. food is always great, although we got weird tasting veg biryani once when we ordered for a party. otherwise staff is great. you can party with a small group in the isolated area here.

good food, friendly and attentive service in a whimsical decor. will be back!

try it!. rasoi is my favorite indian restaurant with chinese influences. the dishes i recommend are the mango lasso (a mango yogurt drink), britain (indian style fried rice really strongly spruced but delicious and fatty), tikki masala if you're new, and saga (spinach cream curry). remember to order everything mild or your mouth will be on fire!

if you're in jersey city and looking for authentic indian biryani, then this is the place to go. their egg biryani is delicious and gives you your indian flavour. the spices in their dishes are perfectly balanced. the gravy for curries are thick and tasty. totally recommended if you're looking for something indian in jersey city.

rasoi was fabulous!. took my mum for mother's day dinner. great atmosphere, food, and staff. definitely going back.

location: this restaurant is located on indian street at jfk blvd.

restaurant details: the ambience is okay, the lights were pretty dim and not bright, they can improve on it. the staff was friendly and cooperative though.

order details :
1) navratan korma- we decided to go for navratan korma, it was tasty enough according to the american standard. not spicy or too sweet either, the cooks at restaurant should try making fresh tomato puree instead of getting a canned one which makes the curry on the sweet side. rest of the ingredients were in right quantity.

2) naan: the naan bread was soft too and was good.

conclusion- overall a good place and one of the famous places on the indian street. they still can do better in terms of curry making as i mentioned before.

an amazing place in jersey city which serves very tasty chicken biryani.

visited this place on a weekend night with family. the staff was quick in their service.

nice ambiance and food tasted good.

must try their chicken biryani and their rasoi special biryani.

the food is nowhere to be found even after 2 hours, the staff is so illiterate and rude after asking about the order multiple times they hung up. kept saying 5 mins and after 10pm they closed their restaurant. terrible service, never ordering again and will never recommend.

when you are far away from your homeland and want to really enjoy some good indian food then rasoi is the place to opt for. one of my absolute favourite thing to order from here is the paneer bhurji and dal makhani. i was extremely pleased with the quantity which is enough for 3 members. coming to the taste, dal makhani was sheer love and their paneer bhurji was just amazing. i have already ordered this combo many a times and would definitely consider ordering from here once again.

very good food take home very systematic tried butter chicken and chicken biryani both very good. will visit again pricing very reasonable. ambience looks good though i have taken only take away.

this is a best place have some private dinner.
great ambiance add to its wonderful food.
it has some nice combinations to go with.
