amazing. the restaurant is stunning in beauty and the food was divine. i love indian food and this was a brilliant take on it. the service was also impeccable. a must!

disappointed tonight with a favorite restaurant. i love rasoi, one of my favorite restaurants in the hood. i've introduced many a friend to the delicious food and warm and friendly ambiance. tonight was unfortunate, as i introduced yet another friend to this charming restaurant we were affronted by unfriendly, inexperienced and definitely unprofessional staff. a most unpleasant experience and it will give me pause as to choose rasoi over the many other restaurants on notre dame again. bummer, cause i really like this place but such rudeness to a paying customer is unacceptable and kinda put a damper on the whole evening. .

amazing food, service and ambiance!. this is the first time i comment and i absolutely recommend this restaurant! the food was amazing and the service was great! i was pregnant at the time and they made sure i was comfortable, made me a great virgin cocktail and couldnt get enough of the food we ordered, i wanted to try everything on the menu! i highly recommend this place!!

great food!. we went for dinner last night and really enjoyed it.we shared an onion bhaji and a spring roll appetizer. both were large and i could have stopped there, but we had also ordered some naan, rice, butter chicken, pork belly and chicken, and the vegetable gobi with broccoli. everything was delicious and we brought home the leftovers for a tasty feast for lunch today as well! we will definitely be back! yummy and reasonably priced....

great food. went here for dinner and caught the end of happy hour pricing on pints and wine. traditional indian with a great twist. had a lot of food and it was $25 per person including a pint! and the decorations are amazing.

absolutely great service, very very polite staff, wonderful atmosphere, the absolute best authentic indian cuisine i've ever tasted!! must come try it, highly recommended!!!

rasoï is a very different type of indian restaurant. the influences from other cultures are greatly felt and one that you may appreciate. what was really impressive was the amount of care the owner put into making sure that each guest was happy with what they had. while there were a few misses, the rest of the dishes were sure fire hits.

rasoï is claimed to be an indian fusion restaurant. the fusion consists of integrating a touch of french, italian and japanese into indian dishes. glancing through their blackboard menu, we also noticed some thai and american dishes. they are simple flavoured indian dishes without the kaleidoscope of aromas and spices. the food was relatively good, not a simple complaint on the quality of their food. our least favourite dish was perhaps the poutine. although it is tasty, it lacks the feeling that it is a poutine. it should be messy with fries drowned in load of gravy. it feels like ordering a nacho. we definitely have our favourite ones. the onion bhaji are well-spiced with lightly crisp exterior. they are served with a refreshing coriander chutney and a sour-earthy tamarind sauce. the naan bread pizzas are probably the only dishes that felt fusion. the fig and paneer naan pizza is a must try. it has sweet and savoury note with some basil for added freshness. the parmesan used comes from the store-bought cardboard, instead of using the actual cheese. the tandoori chicken californian pizza is another dish that is worth ordering - shredded pieces of smoky tandoori chicken topped with roasted peppers and onions, chunks of mango for added sweetness. it tastes good as it sounds. another noteworthy dish is the coconut curry served with well-seared scallop and pan fried shrimp. the curry sauce is sweet and creamy, perfect to eat it with a dish of briyani. chicken briyani with raita kheema lamb poutine tilapia pakoras with tartare sauce onion bhaji with coriander and tamarind chutney fig and paneer naan pizza chicken tandoori californian pizza scallop and shrimp coconut curry aloo ghobi and brocoli chili paneer rasoï 3459 rue notre-dame o. montreal, qc h4c 1p2 514-544-9866

thanks for a great experience. we were a party of nine on saturday october 11th. from the first drink and crispy bread to the incredibly reasonable check we all had an amazing experience!! we chose a four course, reasonably priced, dinner plan for the entire group and with the help of the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly server worked are way through four amazing courses. the food was terrific and true culinary delight, the staff incredibly attentive without being overtly so and the portions were more than adequate for nine healthy people. thanks again for the great experience and look forward to dining again.

rasoi disappoints. we had onion bhaji (soggy & pasty), fish pakora (could almost have been mcpakora) with very bland sauces. next, lamb chop korma (overcooked, could have been any meat, sauce ok) and okra curry. very stingy portions (they try to make it look more by adding potatoes !!). nan was bland and not crispy. overall edible but nothing stood out. music was terrible, old big band jazz (how unsuitable is that ?). appetizers came quickly then a 30 minute wait. will not go back.
