i had booked iftar evening and my experince “not again “ . i do not believe how such a renowned restaurant can be so casual . following are few points why i have 1 star .

- booked iftar and reached at 6:40 pm so it’s definitely expected that resturant will give dates and water to break fast . we had to ask explicitly and it came at 6:55 .
- in iftar menu there was chicken biryani . we got veg biryani and 3 times they changed the serving but every time it was veg biryani 😡 how a chef does not know what he is preparing andstaffdoes not know what they are serving after returning food 3 times . sic :( on top of that i was asked to manage with veg biryani till their manager came .
- finally they did not serve desserts also . we had to leave without that .

how such a reputed resturant can be so casual . also i was surprised to see in the iftar section they were servings liquor in the same time very close to our seating area . they could have created a separate section for serving liquor . totally unacceptable .

management must look into this.

food quality was okay but quantity was very limited..... ambience is good,staffis well behaved but not at all satisfied with food

we visited rang mahal for a special occasion and were not disappointed at all. thestaffwas very friendly, especially mira. she provided us with an amazing service making us feel well taken care of. the food was also very good. perfect for a family get together.

i loved the food also the warm welcome from thestaffand jensen was so nice and always helpful, i will recommend it for sure to my friends

food was amazing. but service is was extremely bad . the attitude ofstaffwas worse . please improve yourstaffquality.

we celebrated a special occasion here tonight and without any doubt we had the best experience here than any other indian restaurant in dubai. the quality and taste of food is incredible.

thestaffhere are super nice and helpful. jyoti is bang on with her recommendations and served us with a smile.
i am someone who hates daal makhani from the core of my being. i do make it a point to try this staple dish at every restaurant i visit but always come away hating it even more. but the daal makhani at rang mahal is incredible according to me. the slight tanginess to it is what made me love it.

brought my wife here for her birthday and we had a wonderful time. lovely ambience, delicious food and topped up up with friendly and courteousstaff(mira and pawan).

the place is really classy, really nice lighting and wall designs. it looks a bit like the set up in tong thai, but it still has a few unique touches to differentiate it from any other restaurant.
the food was really tasty. i would recommend the tandoori cauliflower, paneer tikka and any of their rotis/naan are really well made.
thestaffwas super attentive (even though the restaurant is kinda packed), special thanks to jyoti who took really good care of us, even with 7 people on the table she ensured everyone was well looked after.
the manager (ramesh) visited us during our dinner, he is super sweet and ensured that he got our feedback on any tiffs (we had 0 issues).
i've uploaded a picture of the kulfi ( it's homemade), so that's my favorite dish of the night!
