based on the hugely positive reviews on zomato, we decided to try rajputana during the occasion of our parents wedding anniversary and boy they did not disappoint us. the restaurant is located on the 9th floor of jp hotel and has a bird's eye view of the city. the ambiance on the roof top is awesome and there is always a breeze of wind blowing on your face. there was an ipl match telecast on the big screen when we were there. one thing to note is you need to inform them during your reservation if you are planning to have their buffet as their buffet preparation is done only on customer need basis. unfortunately i did not do so and we were left with a la carte option. our host tamil took good care of us right from the start and did explain varieties of dishes when we were looking for options.

the food serving time is a bit on the higher side and you may have to inform them to serve quickly if you are in a hurry to leave. complimentary welcome drink was served which was good. soups were okayish and the tandoor items we ordered in their starters with a mix of chicken and prawns were really good. for main course we ordered a few naans, rotis and kulcha along with butter chicken and mutton rogan josh and an order of mutton biryani. all the items tasted great and the biryani in particular was flavorful.

then our host tamil brought in the anniversary cake which they had prepared for the occasion. the taste of the cake was heavenly and certainly made it a moment to remember. they then served each of us complimentary set of desserts which included a jamun, carrot halwa, kheer, litchi and a chocolate which were neatly presented and tasted great. overall the dining experience was fantastic and we would love to come back again. thanks to tamil and his team for the truly memorable hospitality provided.

v hit this place for dinner and it was a surprise for my frnd who had her bday..

ambience - i jus loved it.. located on jp hotel.. 9th floor.. loved their dim lightings..the climate was so gud.. does cricket match has been played in projector.. so for ambience ll give 5/5 for this!!

service - the service was sloppy at the beginning but later on they picked it up.. they were helping wit the serving part and water is filled on time..

now coming to the food part.. first they served welcome drink.. it was called fruit punch.. but i felt the tutti fruity ice cream was given in a melted way... it was the exact taste of that icecream

then for soup v ordered creme of mushroom and some chicken soup.. it took arnd 20 min for it to arrive.. and the mushroom soup was served in cup and saucer.. no idea y it was like tat.. but tasted gud..

starters.. am sorry i din know the name of something... v ordered chicken tikka.. fish tikka.. prawn manchurian and some lamb kabab.. prawn and mutton was really really gud... whereas i got some raw taste in chicken and fish..

main course- v ordered chicken and mutton biriyani.. both was gud.. no complaints.. then some of the veg frnds ordered naan and kadai panneer.. i jus tasted the panneer.. it was soft and fresh...

desserts - for my surprise they provided complimentary desserts for everyone.. which contained fruit platter.. a small chocolate.. gajar k halwa and rasamalai.. everything taste gud😍

pricing- i felt this restaurant s lil over priced cuz none of the starters were below 450 bucks. but then again since it's located on top of a star hotel.. it's obvious

thenthere was some magician came to our table and performed some tricks which was really gud tooo!!!

so totally if u wanna enjoy tat calm breezy evening with ur loved ones u can hit this place!!

booking was smooth. ambience was good. but promised menu wasn't given. even after calling and confirming, sea food wasn't served. later after pursuing it was done. food tastes good. pricing is not that bad. water was charged separately and wasn't informed earlier. overall okay.

whatever am going to say will be too less for the hospitality of these guys specially "tamil", "dutta" and the chef. so, i was relocating to hyderabad from pune and i had my fiancé bday on the very next day of the day i reached hyderabad, he's posted in chennai. to surprise him was a big task for me bcz coordinating from hyderabad/pune to chennai in a little time was not possible. i was finally blessed to get this guy tamil who contacted and very warmly listened to my surprise proposal plan, with proper customized cake plan. i was worried about everything from cake to the songs to be played at right time. how will the proposal ring be given to put on the cake, omg lots of things to be worried on. finally, i came to the rooftop. i had 3 tables booked and to choose from. they insisted me to take the inside seating and i followed them. they started playing song with complimentary drinks and food. talking about food starting from bharta to rajma to missi roti to everything even the complimentary stuff tasted yummmmmm…. we had our food and the cake came in at just the right time and planned. and the proposal song at perfect proposal time with all of them standing there. my fiancé who is an unemotional guy had tears in his eyes and it is the most memorable day of our togetherness.
they even dried the sticky notes that got wet due to my carelessness.
mr. tamil, you rock guy. thank you for every little initiative you took by yourself. probably the best hospitality ever seen by you people. they even provided discount on our cake. love, you guys to make my unemotional man emotional. he cherishes it every time that song is played would be visiting you soon. lots of love.

excellent service, very courteous staff will make you comfortable throughout. the rooftop restaurant had some great views. was pleasantly surprised by their complimentary drinks and desserts.

very good food and ambience, and the service by mr.j.dhatta was excellent.

dinner at rooftop within a small hut made our day special with my family.

suggestion: traffic noise was little disturbing hope you can avoid that by playing some music.

my experience - if u wana enjoy a dim light dinner with a top view .. its a grt place wt frnds or family ..... both !!
hook up to a corner table .. drinks r also served !! wt light music .. ghazal typess or sufi.. i mean not all d tym u feel lik listening to edm or party numbers .. right !
i liked it n yaa lil costly .. or shud i say ovr priced 4 veg dishes ..

their roof top dinner is a nice and calm dining experience. must try for all those who enjoy north indian cuisine.

i visited here on 12-feb-2017, for my wedding anniversary celebration. the table was booked over the call & the restaurant manager mr. c.v. riju was so courteous & gud over the call and asked us if there's any occasion. i told him it's my anniversary & here it's done.
just after hrs i visited the roof top hotel, taking safety of people & children @ top priority by having the glasses all over, which is generally not seen in many rooftop restaurants.

mr. ajith who was so courteous & nice talking in providing his best class of service. before takin our order, he served us the complimentary juice & eatable. they have a pickle of papaya, which is very nice & rare to find. the green chutney is also gud.
we ordered 2 starters which were served one after the other and the paneer starter was really tasty & soft. the bhutiyan can b much better by makin it more crispy.
post this we ordered veg pulav - the aroma of it made me tempting. it had all the dry fruits & the vegetables served wit the onion raitha...

me & my wife were almost on verge of full stomach, but mr. ajith throwed a googly there.
he served us 2 plates of desert having a piece of gulab jaamun, chocolate, litchi, firni & carrot halwa..
all this was complimentary. though i returned one as we both were ful and shared only 1 plate.

last but not the least, mr. ajith's last ball was a fantastic googly.. he bought a cake for us. it's really nice in taste and i didn't had any words than to thank him. he & his colleagues came together took photos and clapped for us. we were really overwhelmed wit their service, food quality & quantity and taste.

wil surely make up again for a visit.

the best part about this place is the complimentary welcome drink & deserts they serve! the presentation of the deserts would just bowl you over. the staff were courteous and friendly. overall experience was excellent. they could perhaps play soft music for the kind of ambience they have.

visited rajputana with my friends yesterday..it is a roof top restaurant..the ambiance was excellent ..the tables were ready for us..we tried ala-carte ... pista milkshake was provided as complimentary..they served alcohol  too..fosters and calrsburg was available costed around 250 ..other liquor too is available.. tried tomato basil soup which was very sweet and did not taste great....hara bara kebab and multani tikki were the starters we ordered both were good..multani tikki was excellent.. main course roti and pindi channa...and was good..
for the deserts we ordered phirni but was not available..ordered kulfi..it had some pista shells on it..on complaint it was changed...and it was not charged in the final bill..we were provided a complimentary dessert platter too... it had moong dhal halwa..gulab jamoon..lichee fruit and sweet lassi..all of them were great..
the final bill came around to 2800..overall the ambiance is great..little expensive..food is not that extremely great...but definitely very good

a place to go to when you're looking for delicious food. excellent hospitality and special acknowledgements to mr. tamil for taking care of every little detail to make sure that we had a pleasant evening and meal. it's a rooftop place with provision to sit inside and a smoking zone. a mind relaxing ambience makes this place a must visit. a wide variety of starters are available to choose from. it's got the right mix of spices that a person looks for in north indian food. it will remind you of home food, but at the same time, it's as tasty as beautiful and presentable it looks. the manager had personally come to check with us about everything. servings size was humble. there is a non tomato base mushroom soup that has a different taste to it. the chutneys were perfectly complimentary and went well with our starters. from, paneer tikka to creamy mushrooms to dahi kebabs, the exceptionally delicious taste never ceases to impress me. i've dined at this restaurant for a couple of times now and every time i go the taste amazes me and incentivizes me to go again. the quantity of food was good. breads were hot and fresh. the traditional north indian mithaiyan are given a modern twist and presented in a unique manner. the desserts are yum. specially, their gulab jamun is hot and melts in your mouth. in the end, a person is content and happy,such is the food. it's comforting and relaxing with great food.

i had reserved a table for my friend's bday..we had opted for buffet..the food was amazing..starters were cooked to perfect..!!!so amazing that we didnt have much place for the main course..but still we tatsed all the dishes that they had placed..all the gravies..was excellent except for the chicken gravy..chicken gravy was ok..but other than that..biryani pulao..naan roti..i have no complaints..desserts also were good..ambience was amazing..!!!it will b suitable for couples who wud like to have a romantic dinner..their hospitality was also very nice..overall very nice experience..surely wud visit the next time..!!
