won't return. visited the restaurant twice in the past 3 weeks. sat out on the patio first visit ( although we have been going to rafferty's many years). it took the server 15 minutes to wait on us and ask us for drinks. then took 10 more minutes to get our drinks, the server seemed to be chatting with another table whilke we waited. at that point we dclined to eat, and asked for manager. she was apologetic and gave us 2 free entree cards. i visited again on 5/8/13 about 8:30 pm. again it took 20 minutesd to get 2 drinks in a half seated full restaurant. we ordered, and food took another 20 plus minutes, but forgot my salad. upset at thsi point, i sent the food back and ask for mysaladfirst and ask to see a manager. he came out and i explained our issue, he was not sympathetic but made excuses for the server. he said the bill is on "us". i told him we already had cards for the meals, he said he would take care of everything. we finshed the meals, food is always good, and left . he ran us down and said you didnt pay for your drinks, disgusted i paid and said to never return and will share my disappointed visit with as many future patrons as possible. service and managment needs an overhaul to be successful, i used to work in food industry years ago and waited tables at a raffertys on nicholasville road. the manager , after i complained, took over waiting on our table for some reason,i never saw my server again!!!
