the food atradiocairo is always great, but we won’t be going back as we had no service. our table was left with no attention. we ordered the tasting menu for the whole table and there wasn’t enough portions for everyone, we had to ask for more. then we were told the bar had closed at 9.30pm (on a saturday) without any warning, which meant we couldn’t get any more drinks to go with our food. so disappointing as it was a birthday meal and i’d moved our time to the second sitting, at 8pm, to ensure we wouldn’t get rushed out..

disappointing. just got back from what was meant to be a special night out . we ordered four meals and despite asking for one twice it didn't arrive until everybody else had finished. not good enough .that meant we had to take it as a takeaway to the movies. on top of that we spent $160 for four of us. the portions atradiocairo seem to be shrinking over the years. we won't be back.

just got home from a lovely evening atradiocairo. this restaurant's food was delicious; each dish on the menu is unique- i've never come across any of these dishes at any of the restaurants i've been to before.
for entree i had the dwaaba and jungle bread. the dwaaba is now my new favourite cocktail, a mix of honey/lemon/lime and spirits. i've ordered a few over priced cocktails lately that i have not enjoyed any of them, but this one was sweet but not sickly. the jungle bread was amazing! this entree was a bargain at just $13.95.
my main was the buzzard and sweet potato curry, again delicious. but it's quite a small serve so you need to get a few side dishes. the cuban juju sirloin slippers were great but the lamb shanks were way too spicey for my liking.

i have been toradiocairo on a number of occasions- amazing food!!! could eat there every day! however i was there with a friend on saturday night and we both got the impression that they were doing us a huge favour for allowing us to be there! their service was poor with a waitress who seriously had attitude issues and no experience! this was seriously disappointing particularly at the end when we had decided that they did not deserve a tip but they still asked us for one?!?

interesting, exotic menu, however below average delivery.  the idea of the restaurant is very interesting.radiocairo serves exotic cuisines from all over the world. the problems is that if you have ever tasted these dishes in their original form or prepared by a good chef, the meals inradiocairo seem to be below average. they are not as tasty, not as balanced and sometimes even far from what they should taste or look like due to sloppiness or lack of experience of the chefs. i wondered whyradiocairo had such a good rating, but after having dinner there i figured out that it is likely because most of the dishes sound exotic and are new to many australians. if you are reasonably familiar with world cuisines and can recognize the menu items, you will be most likely disappointed. this is not a restaurant i would go back to.

love love loveradiocairo. busy night no booking and the super friendly and attentive staff not only did their best to fit us in but made the whole experience that much more fun and enjoyable with their humour. we had the beef slipper and a chicken and sweet potato curry - both were divine. followed by the best creme brûlée i've had. definitely a new favourite.

great night. the banquet menu atradiocairo was impressively varied and tasty. i felt the portions were adequate for the number of dishes. in fact, we struggled to finish the food. highlights were the jerk pork ribs, eggplant dip, lamb sosaties and the addictive afro fries. we had an awesome night, thanks in large part to the friendly staff who looked after our group well. they had no problem accomodating some dietary restrictions which we appreciated. the joint was packed when we left about 8.30pm so definitely book for weekends.

it is difficult to single outradiocairo’s food as either caribean or cuban or sri lankan or african or moroccan. it really is a mesh of cuisines from different regions. the dining experience atradiocairo is just different and unlike any other place you will experience in sydney.

nowradiocairo is amazing, it’s this hip moroccan/jamaican restaurant in cremorne. it’s an absolute hoot with the locals and offers the perfect sandwich between a busy day in the office and a riveting movie night.
