pronto

tonight was my first time trying this restaurant. the menu has a huge amount of both sushi and non sushi selections! the miso soup was good, but not very warm. the crispy spicy shrimp and the crispy philadelphia california rolls were my favourite! both had such delicious hints of spice and creaminess. the chicken teriyaki bowl was delicious and the portion size was generous. we came home with many left overs and it was just over $30.00 for two! the service was ok, but the girl taking the orders and running the till looked over worked. she could hardly keep up when it came time to deliver the food to the table or to take payments! will definitely be back again but hopefully on a less busy evening.

dun aksamdan yediklerimize gelince onden elmali kabak ve arpacik soganli enginar soyledik. ana yemek olarak kionali somon ve zahterli kuzu sirt tercih ettik. bir yerde movenpick dondurmasi gorunce kendimi tutamadigim icin hemen tatli niyetine iki top soyleyiverdim. karamel-ceviz ben antep-ceviz arkadasiminkiydi.
onden getirdikleri sicak ve kucuk kepekli ekmeklere bayildigimi da ekleyeyim hemen.
dun aksamla ilgili elestirim de var. birincisi yemekler lezzetliydi ama porsiyonlar fiyatlara gore cok kucuk kacmisti. kuzu sirt ozellikle hem azdi hem de yaninda gelen sebzeler acisindan da eksik kaldi. ikincisi baslangiclara. yine fiyat oran analizi yaparsak odenen miktarlar yediklerimize oranla fazlaydi. hepsine 120 tl odedik ve alkol almadik.
peki ortama deger mi derseniz kesinlikle evet. burasi aslinda minik bir avm havasinda ve etrafta kucuk sevimli butikler ve pilates salonu mevcut.
veeeeee caramel cake ikinci subesi pronto'nun yaninda. bu ne demek??? donerken bir dilim tiramisuyu paketletmek ??

ambiyansı ve mekanın dizaynı bursa'da gördüğüm en iyilerinden biri. çok kaliteli bir yer. fiyatlar orta üstü olmasına rağmen değiyor bence. kadeh şarap olmadığı için iki kişi bir küçük şişeyi paylaştık. bence kadeh şarap olmaması çok saçma ilk defa böyle bir şeyle karşılaştım bir mekanda. ayrıca çerez ister misiniz yanına diye sorduklarında istemedik fakat ona rağmen getirdiler. bizde ikram diye düşündük. fakat hesap geldiğinde her bir kuruyemişten 6 şar tl yazmışlardı adisyona??

i love ramen, so  i was very disappointed when i tried the ramen at pronto.  it was the worst ramen i've ever had.  as soon as she put it on the table in front of me the smell made me lose my appetite completely, and  i was very hungry.  i tried to eat a bit of it but the broth was gross, and the noodles were terrible.  next time i want ramen i'll just stay home and make some icheban.  it will be better than this place's.

service is not existing, basicly you need to serve yourselve. they put some sweet sause on top on your sushi! i tried some beef stuff outside their sishi menu, smells like rotten somethin, can't eat it. awful.

okay, but not authentic. pronto is good for 'canadian approximation of japanese food', but if you've eaten curry or ramen in japan, you'll be disappointed. the tonkatsu curry don (in my photo) had almost no curry sauce (you can see a little bit of liquid on one side of the container), and none of the veggies that are usually in curry rice. the pork cutlet was great though!

i've also had the tonkatsu ramen. it's more of a fancier instant ramen than the ramen you'd get in a similar restaurant in japan - different noodles and different broth (both of which i suspected were a prepackaged type).

the food is good, and if you wanted to introduce someone to japanese food pronto is a fine choice, but it won't fill the need for anyone nostalgic for food they ate in japan.

food not bad on a good day, service only acceptable.

first time at this place. ordered some basic sushi rolls and a couple expensive specialty rolls. basic rolls were disappointing. salmon was not fresh at all. you can tell the ingredients are old and cheap. the expensive rolls were stupidly huge with flavours all wrong and all over the map.
i stopped eating after 4 pieces.
the menu is way too big and it's hard to order if you've never been here before. maybe it's one of those places that only does a few things really well and you have to know what to order? i dunno.

service was awkward and most employees didn't understand english well. service was poor.

it's overpriced, even for being close to the university.
will never go back.
you want amazing sushi?
take the drive to emerald park for "urban sushi". best we've ever had.
they should go there and learn how to make sushi properly. we will stick with urban sushi for sure.

the best japanese restaurant in town. jumbo rolls are huge and so delicious. dragon roll is my most favourite. i love this place.

i dont get this place. okay, im korean, and i got served with korean language from korean server. she was not friendly at all, not helping at all. they just got my order, and served my food, and just talk with someone at the sushi bar all day. i was there at the first time so i had no idea where i can get my chopstiks. when i asked her where can i get those, she blinked for few seconds, she said "its right over there" and i can read that she's adding "yeah you stupid one" on her face. very pissed-offed.

i ordersd port cutlet. what is this? the sauce tasted like water and the salad was aweful. pork? to hard to chew. i only ate few pieces of the cutelt, and rice. not even touch that garbage salad.

i was wondering, that did i get this horrible stuff because im korean?
i wish its just that pork. otherwise, i feel sorry for all of you whoever eats here.

and dont go there at winter time. i was sitting there and freeze to death whenever someone comes in or out.

not bad, good for quick easy food. orders here seem to take a long time, and the food isn't amazing. it is, however, well priced and good enough. i've been a few times now, and leave happy :)

torch rolls = yum. my partner and i visit this restaurant often, as it is close to the university campus. it is, arguably, the best sushi this city has to offer and you get bang for your buck, unlike some other sushi spots in the city. the jumbo rolls are especially good. the lion king roll is a must-try - the finishing touch of torching the outer layer of salmon gives it a delicious, smoky flavour that tastes unlike anything else i have ever tried in a sushi restaurant here in regina. the staff is friendly and at least one of the sushi chefs trained and worked in san francisco and really knows his stuff. they offer a huge variety of different rolls, although i can't say i'm a huge fan of the soggy salad they serve in some of the combos and sometimes they go a little overkill on the eel sauce on certain rolls. overall, it's a great place to get delicious sushi fast and i am so happy that there is a sushi place located near campus.

pick your menu items wisely. i've ordered from pronto several times. i really like their bento boxes - the sushi always tastes great. however, i had a pretty bad ramen soup the last time - broth was okay but the noodles were over cooked and the pork was dry. plus for $10, you'd think they'd give you more than 2 small slices of pork in a serving... i may not order soups anymore but i will continue going back for sushi.

i've always been a fan and loyal customer to this restaurant, i've recommended to friends and always go with friends but after today, no more. when i first heard about the change, i was disappointed that they removed student special but when i found out they added ramen, i wanted to go there immediately. so despite i had a sore throat i really wanted to try their tori ramen (deep fried chicken ramen), when i saw it i was excited cause it looked delicious! but when i took my first bite, the taste is good but extremely spicy. i've looked at the menu over and over again, i did not find anywhere it said "spicy". it was not mild spicy but spicy spicy. i'm super disappointed and unfortunately, i'll just be once in a rare occasion customer.
in addition, my friend ordered the ramen combo which consists of korean beef ramen, four dynamite rolls and a pop. there were one medium sized and a small piece of "korean beef". again, disappointed. yes, it came with dynamite rolls and a drink but two pieces of beef? unacceptable.

i really hope they will fix this problem cause i really did like this restaurant.
