primo's tex-mex grille

this is one of favorite tex-mex hang outs. the pancho villa dip is delicious! it's a funplaceto go with family or friends. the patio is great in nice weather. there are also a lot of seats by the windows. so, even if it is too hot for the patio you can enjoy the view of lake ray hubbard. everything we have had is delicious and they make great margaritas.

awful just totally awful. thisplaceis awful waited 30 minutes to sit on the patio then got fed up and asked for a table inside there where several but they said another 15 minutes then another 15 minutes to get waited on then 30 more to get the food order and it was terrible i wouldnt set foot in thisplaceif it was the last mexican restaurant in the city read most the reviews and alot of people feel the same way the only reason people go here is the view,

like it. you have to be careful on weekends when the weather is nice because theplacecan be crazy. but it's good tex-mex, the staff is friendly and the prices are good. the lake view doesn't hurt.

the managers suck! the food is mediocre! the bartenders can't (or won't) make a decent drink. the only thing going for thisplaceis the lake.

great view, good food, meh service. cool location on the lake but service was lacking, almost non existent at first, but it did get better. food was above average/good and just a little on the pricey side for tex mex. the fajita soup was delicious and the chicken fajitas were good along with fresh avocado/guacamole.

worst "tex-mex" food ever. the night started off bad with the chips; they were terrible. they had a bitter taste none like i had ever tasted before (and trust me i've had a lot...i'm hispanic). one of my friends ordered an $8.99 quezo dip...what we got was a small bowl of weird yellow looking cheese (probably a generic brand). the enchiladas and flautas were decent but the beans tasted like they came straight out of a can. later in the night my friends and i ordered drinks...and what i got tasted like nyquil my friends kept ordering different things because everything seemed to taste worse than the one before (our checked ended up being more than $100). the only delicious drink they had was the sex on the beach. i know i will never return to thisplaceever again. the staff was nice and the service was great but the food was not. i'll choose gloria's over thisplaceanytime!

greatplacefor food and fun. the food is pretty good, but it's the staff and the awesome service that is worth going back for. lea rocks. she went above and beyond to get my large party of 20 the table we wanted. steve, our waiter, was also super. he handled our large crowd beautifully. there was also a musical guest, goga, who was amazing! we're already planning our next visit to primos!
