amazing. the ambiance, the food, the service, all of it. such agreatexperience. for a long time, i believed no sandwich would take the place in my heart for paseo. but their cuban was the best sandwich i've ever had. the flavor was to die for, and the dip provided completely changed the entire meal, somehow making it even better. totally unexpected from the exterior of the place. a must-have when in redmond. might be worth the drive from the city on its own.

wow!. there's not a lot ofgreatdining in redmond, i'll admit. my wife and i have talked about going to pomegranate a couple of times, and we finally took the plunge.

we started with the lamb sliders, which were pretty amazing. perfectly balanced the sweet slaw, the savory of the feta cheese, and delightful lamb patties. i had the fried chicken, which was incredible!!! the crispy batter was wonderful but was also so incredibly light, it was crispy when i bit into it, but then it just kind of melted in my mouth. wow. my wife had white fish tacos, which had some spicy yucca fries. we'd never had yucca, but they were pretty addicting - the spices were awesome! we decided to round it out with a "jarred peanut butter cup." outstanding! even that seemed light for something so otherwise decadent.

we'll definitely be going back, hopefully taking my parents when they come into town, and i'd love to also check out their brunch menu.

fried chicken and agreatbar. so happy they opened the adjacent pom bar! the main dining room is jam packed with the stroller and car seat crowd at lunch time, so we save our visits till after 3 pm when the bar opens. samegreatmenu. terrific bartenders and wait staff. get the flatbreads, the fries, and the fried chicken. order whatever drink you like. they'll shake, stir, pull, pour whatever you're drinking.

ordered the southern chix and waffles for sunday brunch. heardgreatthings. unfortunately, not such agreatmeal. chix breasts - were they left over from last night and microwaved? they were overcooked, dry and tough. waffle served on the same plate - lukewarm butter couldn't even melt). way overpriced for what was served and the quality.

puffs. one of the best things you'll ever put in your mouth. like a tender donut, served with english dessert sauce.

sausage, egg firebread.greatbreakfast! like a pizza with sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese?, salsa and jalapenos (served without if requested). the crust is crisp and the salsa is fresh-- my husband has eaten dozens of them.

our standby. pomegranate is our go-to place whenever we want a nice meal with our young son. it's a rare combination ofgreatfood that's also good for kids. practically everything we try isgreat- the firebread, meats, vegetarian entrees and especially the dessert. if it's on the menu, make sure to try the fish tacos or the chocolate soup dessert.

don't judge the book by it's cover. i agree with the seattle weekly's opening lining above "don't judge it by its blah, office-park exterior". this is a real gem in redmond. the interior is industrial chic. it's always busy and for good reason.greatfood, good service. huge picture windows provide a view into the bustling kitchen, which is also part of lisa dupar's catering service as well. don't miss an opportunity to dine here.
