fantastic service and great quality food! you have to try the mango ginger "mocktail". goes sooooogoodwith sushi!

this restaurant looks great, but the service is notgoodby any measure, and is overpriced for what it is.

good food not sogoodservice. i have gone to pod several times over the years. i think it's a fun place to go. i don't mind the decor at all, the chairs are a little uncomfortable but not worth complaining about. the food has always been amazing when i've eaten there. the portions are on the small side. i have noticed my last few times there that the service has really gone down the tubes. the hosts and servers are generally curt and don't seem to want to be bothered with doing anything. i don't mind that they aren't constantly at the table but last time i was there i literally waited 25 minutes to order desert and drinks and the server seemed almost offended that he wasn't getting us out the door. i have never had a service issue at any other starr restaurant but i definitely think pod's staff is slipping.

hmmm.... i can't take anything away from the food, it was good...but it's not anything i couldn't have gotten at agoodsmall sushi place...or at a trendy asian american fusion restaurant like a pf changs or bamboo club. you pay for the man's name attached to it, and interesting decor.
if you're looking to feel like you're going upscale, by all means, try it out.

good food, but pricey. verygoodfood i ordered (for delivery) the wasabi crusted filet mignon, seafood fried rice, and hirame sushi. the food arrived in about 30 minutes, with the medium rare steak and rice still hot.goodfood but not great. to elaborate more, yes the food was better than your average restaurant, but with portions the served (minus the rice) and the prices you would think they would be closer to the great (not excellent) side. would i eat their again, yes.

reallygoodfood. expertly prepared and highly original. the sea bass was amazing!!

awesome place. decor and atmosphere are a cross between ny, la, and miami chic. love that they play lounge music in the background. food is excellent. i've had the wasabi crusted filet mignon a couple of times and does not disappoint. sushi is verygoodas well. one of my favs about the place is the dessert. i've had their collection of sorbets...heavenly. all of them are asian fruit inspired...coconut ginger, mango, etc.

ok - it is sometimes pricey - but you won't walk away disappointed. i love the kobe beef on the hotrocks as an appetizer. it was very tasty and left me wanting more - although, again, it was kinda expensive (it was kobe beef though).
for dinner, the filet mignon, the duck, and the tuna are all verygoodchoices.
the best thing about pod is that it is the most unique restaurant you have ever been to! it is very futuristic (as though you are eating dinner in "the jetson's" dining room while they are away on vacation). if you get a group together ask to be seated in one of the pods.
my recommndation is to get some friends together, get a reservation for a pod and eat family style. you will have the perfect setting for agoodtime!!
