after a whole day subsisting on only popcorns and iced latte, i was famished. it was time to eat. it was time to eat something that is very chicago'ish. so … what are the food that is very chicago'ish? well,chicagois the home of:chicagostyle hot dog

i always heard about deep dish pizza and when i arrived tochicagothis was on my list!

the pizza is great, the service great too,
the only let down is the waiting time for a take away single pizza 1 hour and was just before dinner time, i will recommend order on line and pick up, the place is always packed so good atmosphere too.

something strange is drinks are ordered and paid separately from the food, that's make it complex as queues are long for both.

besides that is a great place and planning come back every time i'm back in chicago.

making deep dish pizza since the 1940’s this place is a must visit. order a small, you won’t finish but you will leave amazed!! if you go tochicagoyou must have a deep dish pizza

i have been to uno grill in doha multiple times but the food experience inchicagowas surreal.. 
i just cant compare my home branch to its original here...
probably its the difference in the produce used... the pizzas were aaaahmazing

wow one of the best pizzas ever had. both me and my son were starving after a long journey tochicagoand the wait of 30 minutes only made us more hungrier. we ordered medium numero uno and couldn't finish this deep pan pizza but gave away 2 pieces to the homeless bu the roadside. the rich creamy taste still lingers on and can't wait to try again !!!

tried thechicagofamous deep dish pizza. the numero uno one came with cheese, chicken sausage patty, tomato sauce, pepperoni, tomatoes and mushrooms. it was alright but didn't live up to the hyped upchicagofamous deep dish pizza. there is always a 45 mins waiting even for a takeaway which actually extends to more than an hour. not worth the wait.

leavingchicagolast weekend a friend and i wanted to grab a quick beer before flying home from the midway airport. we happened upon harry caray's and were happy we did. they had my new favourite beer on tap...apex predator (farmhouse ale) - a fruity saison that leaves you wanting another. the bar is filled withchicagocubs memorabilia and although we didn't eat here....the food looked very appetizing. they also have a location at navy pier and i will be sure to check it out the next time i'm back in chicago. if you find yourself with a bit of time at the midway airport, check out the terrific little bar.

we had the uno signature deep dish! think of it like a supreme with no pineapples and glorified goodness of tones of cheese and filling! it was magnificent! for anyone who loves pizza it’s a must try!

first thing we checked out was uno's after getting to chicago. heard it was the best. it definitely delivered. there is indoor seating as well as the bar and two outdoor seating areas. we sat outside and still had great service. highly enjoyed the cheese stick appetizer & the meatballs in marinara appetizer.
really enjoyed the numero uno pizza,chicagostyle of course. had a number of cocktails and beers(local goose island) all which were excellent and came quickly even sitting outside. service was excellent. i mean great!! recommended!!

definitely one of the best places inchicagoto have an iconic deep dish pizza.

unfortunately, we had to do a takeaway since it was an easter weekend and it almost took an hour for them to get our order ready. however, that hour was totally worth it.

we went for spinach deep dish (vegetarian) and it was brilliantly made. the flavors of spinach, cheese, and mushrooms came out very well. however, what was noticeable was the amazing crust - not at all chewy, quite crispy.

definitely recommended if you are inchicagoand want to try out the deep dish pizza.

love uno's! there are many options for greatchicagopizza and everyone has a favorite. uno's is definitely one of the top favorites for our family. never disappointed.

we had heard a lot about the deep dish pizza ofchicagoand this was definitely on our list when we landed there...the place was jam-packed on a saturday afternoon and took us bout 20 minutes to get a table. we ordered a large veggie pizza, bbq chicken individual pizza and a garlic bread. the garlic bread turned out to be really good and gave us quite an appetizing start..the downside would be the wait time for the pizza which is close to 45 minutes -1 hour. the good part is that the staff warns you about it at the very start and keeps informing you your wait time. now comes the food...pizza was just like it's name deep dish so the outer crust and layer was quite thick compared to the inner bread. had base of tangy yet sweet tomato puree which dint go down well with our taste buds and up with toppings. couldn't really take to the taste of it instantly. may be if you walk down here often it might grow in to you. but good service. nice location at the prime ofchicagoand who dsnt love pizza...😄

i am from atl and i have always heard thatchicagohas the best deep dish pizza. that is a true statement! unos was delicious! i will visit this place next time i am back in chicago. i love the city and i love the uno pizza.

googled the best pizza inchicagoand opted for uno as it was literally just around the block. winged it for a saturday night and after a short wait got a seat at the bar. this suited us fine as we were well attended to by bar staff and could comfortably talk sitting side by side. buffalo wings to start with smothered in the tasty and tangy sauce and went well with the sam adams.
veggie deep dish was the pizza of choice. crust was good and the topping was very tasty but the both thought the tomato paste to be a little lacking in salt. good pizza but agreement was pizzano's was better.

found it randomly the first time i waschicagoand new i'd be back. it's the birth place of deep dish so you know they make it right. pizza was absolutely delicious; can't wait to go back.
