pizzeria gusto

thisplacewas pretty amazing! my husband said it's the best pizza he thinks he's ever had. going back sunday & cant wait to try more of the small plates!

we had dinner here on a tuesday night. theplacewas semi busy and we were seated immediately at the chef's table, (the bar where they make the pizzas).
our waiter, chase, was very attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. we had 3 beers, 2 glasses of champagne, and the bruschette appetizer. we also ordered the fried calamari. both appetizers were average. we ordered the pancetta pizza and added chicken. the pizza was good but i feel we could have ordered a better dish. my girlfriend bit into a 2" chicken bone that was missed by the kitchen. luckily she was not injured and our waiter was prompt to notify the kitchen. the manager offered us a free dessert, the ricotta donuts, which we took to go.
overall the atmosphere was enjoyable, the food was average, and all was a little overpriced. our bill was $75.00.
we are unsure if we will try it again.

i stopped in here a while back for a drink at the bar and just knew thisplacewould be one of my favorites.  this thought was confirmed when i went back with a couple of girlfriends and shared the chicken pizza, mushroom pizza, bruschetta and affogato for dessert.  it is a trendyplacewith a hint of coziness. 
the only downside was our server was very soft spoken and hard to hear and they didn't have ranch.  i wasn't surprised that they didn't have ranch, but we are in oklahoma so it would make sense to carry some for safe measure.

we liked it!. husband and i tried thisplacethis evening. he had the soppressata and i had the margherita. both were very tasty. we really enjoyed the woodfired taste of the crust. these pizzas were a nice size so i feel they were worth the price. we saved room for the ricotta donuts. $8 is a little high for five donut holes but you get quite a bit of nutella with them. they were warm and delicious. the hostess was friendly and our server was very knowledgeable and sweet. so glad we checked thisplaceout!

we went on a saturday night for a friends birthday party. luckily our friends had already gotten a table for our party of 8 as it was busy. we had a few open seats at our table so the wait staff sat another party with us which was very inconvenient. service was terrible. we were there for 20 minutes before our waiter took our orders. the server couldn't keep the parties straight and tried to give us the other parties appetizers. we finally got our pizza after a log wait. we ordered the chicken. it was average, not nearly as good as many other pizzas in the metro. i also tried the meatball which i thought was better. service continued to degrade as one member of our party got his pizza 25 minutes after everyone else. when we were done eating the server took another twenty minutes to bring our checks. i found this odd since the line was now out of the door. their was no sense of urgency to get us out of the door to seat anyone who was waiting. all in all we were there for 2 hours to get an average pizza. we were excited to try thisplacesince we've always loved big truck and backyard bbq. save your money and time and go to empire slice house or hideaway

really enjoyed. had lunch with a friend. got the fried artichoke hearts and the cherry tomato pizza. the food arrived fast and it was delicious. mine and my friends opinion was later confirmed by my wife when she ate the leftovers.

i will go back. thisplaceis a gem.
