pizzeria gusto

went on a friday night. wait was about 30 min which is average for anywhere on friday night. worth the wait!! service was great starting with hostess who got us fast drink service from the bar. wait staff was friendly, accurate and two managers stopped to check on us during our meal. food and drinks--we had margaritas and they were very good. some of the best i've had. fried artichokes were very good. three differentpizzaswere ordered at our table. i must say that the pizza choices aren't traditional so i was a bit skeptical. we chose the margarita, the italian sausage and meatball pizzas. i sampled all three. they were all very good. great flavors and nice crust. the margahrita was my favorite. so good!! i would definitely return. the restraunt is a bit loud but it was at full capacity in all fairness.

we liked it!. husband and i tried this place this evening. he had the soppressata and i had the margherita. both were very tasty. we really enjoyed the woodfired taste of the crust. thesepizzaswere a nice size so i feel they were worth the price. we saved room for the ricotta donuts. $8 is a little high for five donut holes but you get quite a bit of nutella with them. they were warm and delicious. the hostess was friendly and our server was very knowledgeable and sweet. so glad we checked this place out!

we went on a saturday night for a friends birthday party. luckily our friends had already gotten a table for our party of 8 as it was busy. we had a few open seats at our table so the wait staff sat another party with us which was very inconvenient. service was terrible. we were there for 20 minutes before our waiter took our orders. the server couldn't keep the parties straight and tried to give us the other parties appetizers. we finally got our pizza after a log wait. we ordered the chicken. it was average, not nearly as good as many otherpizzasin the metro. i also tried the meatball which i thought was better. service continued to degrade as one member of our party got his pizza 25 minutes after everyone else. when we were done eating the server took another twenty minutes to bring our checks. i found this odd since the line was now out of the door. their was no sense of urgency to get us out of the door to seat anyone who was waiting. all in all we were there for 2 hours to get an average pizza. we were excited to try this place since we've always loved big truck and backyard bbq. save your money and time and go to empire slice house or hideaway

picked up a to go order at a time when it was not busy. stood at the bar for a few minutes, bartenders completely ignored me. staring at mypizzassitting on the counter, yet could not get anyone's attention. when someone else asked what i needed and i said i was picking up an order they told me i needed to talk to the bartenders, who were ignoring me! finally got my cold pizzas, they were burnt and not at all worth the $50 for 3pizzasand a salad.

first time there and the bottom of ourpizzaswere burned. at first the waitress told us that was normal, but we insisted that burnt tasting crust was not normal. the manager came over and started to say the same, but as he examined the bottom, he agreed. he brought us a new pizza and it was really good! will try this restaurant again. waiters were attentive and nice.

wow!. i went to gusto and had the caesar salad and the chicken pizza. the goat cheese was tangy and creamy. the chicken cooked completely and the crust... was so perfect it held up all the way to the point of the slice, even with a piece of chicken on the end. can not wait to go again to try the other twopizzasthat caught my eye on the menu.
