hands down the best. i've grown up in longview and eaten this all my life. i am a snob when it comes to pizza. i won't eat it unless it's pizza king. the "everything except anchioves" is super!!! there is so many toppings on the pizza you have to clean out the box when you get done with the pizza. it is a super cleanplacealso. it use to be a run down dive. but they rebulit on site and it is great.

they do go on vacations and shut down...so call ahead to see if they are open.

also gets really busy on fri and sat night. everyone in longview eats at 6pm so go earlier than that!!

one of the best things about doing the audition in dallas for masterchef junior season 2 was getting to visit my cousin michael in longview tx. he was in college there and i got to see the campus and it was all really cool. we took him out for dinner and you might not know this, but longview is a small town. we asked siri the bestplaceto go and she said pizza inn. the inside was really cute with all kinds of vintage cars and trucks. it had a 50's diner feel and i liked it.   i was not expecting much in terms of the food. i mean it is a small town and all. but it was really good. we got some salad and ordered maybe 3 pizzas. we wanted to leave michael with some extra food. you know he is a college guy and probably always can find a friend to share pizza. i enjoyed the pizza. it was fresh, cheesy and well a pretty good pizza! michael liked it too, and when he told his mom where he was, she told us that is the firstplaceshe went on a date with michael's dad. michael had never been so

+3 for the pizza and the house dressing to dip it in from us. this is not our 1st time to eat here over the years but it is our 1st urbanspoon review here. the pizza is what thisplaceis known for. we have tried the subs and they are okay especially for the price; we have tried the philly cheese steak and it is good for the price; the pizza ;however is great. whether it is a pepperoni pizza loaded with pepperoni, one of the specials or our favorite, the supreme, they are all delicious (esp dipped in the house dressing). when thisplaceis mentioned from time to time, it seems like people either love this pizza or not= no middle ground.
+1 for atmosphere. the newer setting and decor is nice when compared to the old and cramped prior building but they have the same old problem= it is always too crowded almost to enjoy the whole eating experience.

+1 for fountain diet dr pepper and great ice.
0 for service which is always fine but they are swamped mostly.

best pizza in east texas. better pizza can't be found. the fresh ingredients are awesome and the crust is the best. this is not fast food. as long as you know you're coming for custom made pizza, you won' be disappointed. if you are happy with fast food pizza, this isn't theplacefor you.

great pizza and subs. pizza king is the best. every mid to large size town has a mom and pop pizzaplacethat is the town favorite. well this is it for longview. i have eaten here my whole life and love it more now than ever. try the subs they are awesome.

i moved to longview during my teen years and found the little hole in the hole pizza joint. although they have a biggerplacenow, the pizza is still great!!!!! i drive back to longview from n d/fw and always eat at pk!! my boys even love this place. great pizza and sandwiches

long time longview resident. i have spent my childhood going to pizza king. went there today first time in years as i moved from that side of town. the new building is cool good atmosphere, good staff very friendly, and attentive the prices are good two people ate for $12.80. although i can say that the salad house dressing and breadsticks were exactly the same excellent. the pizza and sandwiches are lack luster. as my husband said nothing to write home about... the staff though is the reason i will return...best advice go early on weekends they fill up fast we were only there 45 minutes total and theplacewas packed when we left and we got there when they opened

sausage pizza yummm. i really like thisplaceeven though i am not much of a pizza eater, but, boy, do i love their sausage pizza and the y have cold beer too! it's a pretty popularplacewith the locals, but if you are passing through and want pizza, pizza king is theplaceto go.

blahhh. crust like a saltine cracker that skipped the salt. while most of the ingredients are fresh, the only ingredient i require on every pizza i order is canned. canned mushrooms which are slimy and as flavorless as the crust. for the price i would rather walk across the street to little ceasar's for a better pizza. i don't understand why other pizza places hurt for business and thisplaceis packed! people of longview, your taste buds are dead!

i am a fan of pizza. i enjoy it in various different forms (thin crust, thick crust, frozen, fresh, new york style, etc.), but pizza king is the best pizza that i have ever tasted. i have been going to thatplacefor as long as i can remember. we always order a bud special, which isn't on the menu. it's canadian bacon, pepperoni and the crushed sausage. i do recommend, however, to call your order in ahead of time, because it is almost always packed in theplaceand you will wait to sit and wait some more for your food. i can honestly say that in all my years of going there, i have never had a bad experience or pizza.

pk is theplaceto go for reasonably priced pizza and beer.

signatureplaceto eat. longview has only a handful of places that are a must for visitors and people returning home for the holidays or special events. pizza king is at the top of that list. it can be a long wait but this is signature pizza to the city of longview and it's really inexpensive.

you've got new york style, chicago style, california style and last but not least you've got pizza king style pizza. i highly recommend you get the hamburger/mushroom/with minced onion and a cheap beer.

thisplaceis good, but it's not as good as the local hype would lead you to believe. the locals are very loyal!

king's delight!. i like all of the pizza i have tried from pizza king, but the king's delight (supreme) is the one that really makes them stand apart for me. we like getting the king's delight and substituting their "crumbly" sausage inplaceof the italian sausage that normally comes on it and getting the crust well done. mmmmm
