a tradition. yes, this is a longview tradition. no, it's not the best in the world. but it is great for a friday night! thecrustis great and the sausage has just enough kick to make you love it. my only negative is the wait.

pizza king is the king in this town for sure. loved the pizza and it was loaded with toppings. i ordered the king’s delight which is basically a supreme. lots of meats and veggies. and green olives are always a plus. thecrustreally stood up to amount of toppings they throw on here. i also had a small chefs salad. that is a meal in itself. side note- killer ranch dressing. nothing small about it. staff was great and super friendly.

i've completely lost my taste for this place. it's just not very good to me anymore. i saw a review from an out of towner either on here or on yelp that described the pizzacrustas "saltine cracker like". that's pretty spot on. the sauce is too tangy, like it is on a lot of frozen pizzas. just don't enjoy it at all anymore.

great atmosphere, staff etc but it's way down my list anymore.

let down. i came here solo to get a pizza and a salad. i ended up getting a med pepperoni and a green crisp salad.
1.) the salad: ok, cheap lettuce not a lot of green leaves, ranch dressing satisfactory. consistent for $2.60 i guess
2.) the pizza: hot and fresh but i could have gone to walmart and gotten a thincrustred baron pepperoni pizza that would have been cheaper and tasted as good if not better.

urban spoon has it as 90% liked and i don't see how. unfortunately, in my opinion, papa johns has better taste and value.

gluten free greatness!. i was thrilled when i recently found out pizza king offered gluten free crust. i haven't had pizza in a year since having to eliminate wheat from my diet, so the first chance i got, i headed in to pizza king to try it out. i thought it was delicious! the thin, crispycrusttasted great. toppings were fresh, and the sauce was very good. i do not eat cheese either and they had no problem making it for me without cheese. i will definitely go back again for more. the gluten free pizza only comes in one size (approx. 9") and is a $3 up-charge from the prices listed on the menu for their small pizzas. the pizza we ordered ended up being around $8.50. my husband and i split it for lunch with him also eating a small chef salad. for dinner, i would probably order 2 and would likely have a few pieces left over. (fyi: i grew up eating regular pizza king pizzas and loved them...but the gluten freecrustis not like their regular wheat crust, so don't be expecting that! however, if you need to eat gluten free, i don't think you'll be disappointed.)

best pizza in east texas. better pizza can't be found. the fresh ingredients are awesome and thecrustis the best. this is not fast food. as long as you know you're coming for custom made pizza, you won' be disappointed. if you are happy with fast food pizza, this isn't the place for you.

good thou a bit odd. 50's style dinner makes you think of burgers and malts more than pizza. one reviewer mentioned the canned mushrooms, yep there they are. again odd not bad. thecrustis ok kind of puts you to mind of crackers. would have liked the veggie toppings cooked in more instead of warmed and sitting on top. if your an italian purist skip it but for a descent pizza at a good price give it a go.

great pizza. whole family was very thoroughly impressed. pizza had thickcrustat edges, but thin and crispycruston the bottom. the sauce wasn't overwhelming either. the pepperoni was exceptionally good- thick, spicy pepperoni's cooked to a slight crisp. we tried the king pizza, meat lovers, vegetable, and pepperoni and all had generous amounts of fresh toppings.

absolutely disgusting!. i tried pizza king one night and it was barely even edible! thecrustwas tasteless, hard, and had the texture of cardboard. the pizza wasn't even cooked thoroughly and the cheese was barely melted. the pepperoni was ok, but i would never go there again. it was definitely overpriced for such a bad pizza.

blahhh.crustlike a saltine cracker that skipped the salt. while most of the ingredients are fresh, the only ingredient i require on every pizza i order is canned. canned mushrooms which are slimy and as flavorless as the crust. for the price i would rather walk across the street to little ceasar's for a better pizza. i don't understand why other pizza places hurt for business and this place is packed! people of longview, your taste buds are dead!

most awful pizza i have ever had the misfortune to eat. having enjoyed the gastronomiccal experience of new york-style pizza i have to consider pizza king an emperor with no clothes. a pizza begins with thecrustand pizza king'scrustis as tasteless as cardboard. the sauce lacks zest and any semblance of flavor. the toppings are generous, but cannot compensate for the fundamental deficiencies of the remaining ingredients. don't waste your time or money - keep driving. johnny's pizza is a better alternative although it hardly matches the most mediocre pizzas i have eaten back east. cafe italia

when it came out it looked like a frozen pizza! thecrusttasted like a cracker! waste of a cool building. the only thing keeping it open is tradition. its sad when the salad is way better than the pizza!

thin crispycrustpizza at its best, inexpensive too. to those who are detractors, it's not chicago style, it's not ny style, but it's great for what it's supposed to be, so give it a rest!

king's delight!. i like all of the pizza i have tried from pizza king, but the king's delight (supreme) is the one that really makes them stand apart for me. we like getting the king's delight and substituting their "crumbly" sausage in place of the italian sausage that normally comes on it and getting thecrustwell done. mmmmm
