no other word to explain this restaurant besides exquisite!
we attended a private event for a 21st and we're blown away at the friendliness of the staff, food options available and the quality of the meals!!
best calamari i have tasted in a while, and simply, a divine experience.

we celebrated our son’s 21st birthday with a small family lunch at pigalle. service is outstanding (nontando is brilliant!) food is outstanding, the portions are very generous.
one of our guests is gluten allergic. the staff went out of their way to accommodate her, without fuss or flurry.
definitely will be back for special occasions and fine dining. 😊

had a team celebration lunch here. wine recommendations were excellent, service on par and food arrived simultaneously. i enjoyed my prawns, succulent and cooked to perfection. some of my colleagues had prawn curry. although tasty i think a more apt description would be shrimp curry. lacking entertainment or music of some sort, just for atmosphere.

great service followed up with great dish options. we had palette cleanser sorbet to clear the taste buds for your next dish. they went out of their way to cater for a friend who is gluten intolerant.

my idea of perfection!!

i've never been disappointed by the food and service. only place i know eat duck and creme brulee.
more than anything i love the prestigious feel of the whole restaurant, their extensive wine selection and always superb food.

worth every cent.

went there for dinner with a friend and the staff were on their toes.
food was fine.

ambience was a little cold... almost as if the background music wasn't loud enough and everything just seemed a little amplified.
wasn't overly impressed.

one of my favourite places. the food is always tastey and beautifully presented and the service is impeccable. prawns,apricot chicken and the chocolate fondant are a few of my favourite things.

i've been to pigalle twice. both times were amazing! lovely ambiance, lovely service and the food is great! one thing i definitely have to compliment and suggest is their creme brûlée! yum! it's honestly the best creme brûlée i've ever had.... ever!

i went to pigalle for a private event. the service was excellent. they were friendly and accommodating. the food was all very well presented and absolutely delicious! it was well cooked and well seasoned.

this is the ideal place to visit when you want to go out on a romantic date or when you want to get dressed up a bit.

everything about pigalle is 5 star, from the service the moment you walk through the door, we were greeted by warm, friendly and professional staff.

we had starters and mains which was delicious. the seafood platter for two is very generous and absolutely divine unfortunately it did not allow us room for dessert but i've been to pigalle before and the desserts are superb.

my calamari starter was good and it was the special not the one on the regular menu. the baby kingclip as sizable as it was lacked the flavor i’m used to from other places.

went for a family dinner because it’s my birthday today. as the birthday girl i had the unfortunate luck of being served fish that was rotten. when we reported this to the manager alan he didn’t seem bothered and didn’t even offer an apology. such a pity because we’ve been here before and the food was good. won’t be coming back here again 😕

on my list of all time favourite places to dine. from the moment you arrive , you’re treated like royalty! the hostesses are very welcoming and restaurant warm and inviting. sasha the hands on manager always goes out of his way to ensure our evening is fantastic and his recommendations never disappoint ! the complimentary butternut soup and homemade hot bread rolls are irresistible .. this time sasha recommended the fresh wild oysters to start. wow! they were delicious ! the palate cleanser is a lovely touch of class! the fillet is a sure win! the queen prawns are always amazing and probably the best around town! if you’re a chocolate lover, the fondant is over the top devine!!! too many good dishes to mention them all

one of the best restaurants in johannesburg.
the restaurant it's very beautiful. the service is very good. and it's very difficult go wrong with anything you order.
not cheap.
