this restaurant is real class.
it has everything- ambience decor service and excellent food.
from the welcome at the door everything was top class.
pear and gorgonzola salad to share and then the pigalle sea food platter. done to perfection with wonderful sauces. my colleague ordered the portuguese steak. i was envious of his choice. don't think you'd find better in sa.
desserts was also good.

this is the restaurant you go to when you want to impress. the service won't be disappointing and neither will the food. this is an elegant, top quality restaurant.

the food is always good except for the service i will mention below.im a parma ham and carpaccio fan, the carpaccio tastes thicker then other restaurants i had. we could'nt finish our seafood platter so the manager suggest to put it back in the kitchen to keep in warm for us till we feel like it later,i really appreciate that except for this waiter who thought himself humored, i made an reservation to sit next to the window so we got there he lead us somewhere in the middle so i told him i requested a window table he said to me, oh that's for vip guest unfortunately you are not vip enough, then he laughed and said im just kidding. my face shows him that i don't find it funny at all so after i sat down i asked to speak to his manager so another waitress came to serve us all night long. i don't think anyone deserves this kinda shit attitude but it was a birthday dinner so we kept it aside and rather write an review about his disgusting joke. i honestly think service is very important especially you paying for this money. enjoy the photos ~

it is amazing. the food, the wine, the service, the vibe, the everything. my kinda place. the area.... it's in a shopping complex... that's what i don't like. although once inside you won't realize. the salmon was exceptional! the professionalism is outstanding, and i would always recommend it. dates, meetings, celebrations... and wear your heels.... let's be frank.

met my dad for a quick lunch and wow we were blown away. all staff were friendly, attentive and so welcoming. every item looked so good that it took a good 30min to even make a decision. dad decided on the starter muscles and the prawns as a main. i couldn't resist tasting the muscle sauce which i must say if one could taste heaven i'm sure that is how it would taste - absolutely delicious. same for the prawns - succulent and great. i chose the red lentil indian curry - okay if you enjoy spicey food you have to try this. as much as my mouth was on fire i couldn't stop eating - the naan bread was a bit hard but it went well with the curry as a meal. we will definitely be back with the entire family for the pigalle experience.

this elegantly decorated restaurant is a must for food lovers who like a bit of class. the welcome is always friendly yet polite, the service is wonderful, and the dishes are beyond tasty. the steaks in particular are a personal favourite of mine. the sea food and salads are also fantastic. highly recommended!

picture the 80's godfather movie with al pacino slowly wiping his mouth with a white cloth napkin, that's the sort of ambiance at pigalle. great food and service, not the cheapest place but well worth it.

best seafood and service. my husband and i shared the shellfish platter on two occasions and it was delicious both times. my favorite of course being langostines. yum! the service was also excellent!

pigalle is an elegant restaurant and everything just works wonderfully.
we were welcomed by a friendly hostess, the efficient waiter knew his menu well and gave us fantastic service, the delicious well prepared food arrived in good time.
the only very small issue i had was that we were struggling to hear each other (it could've been where we were seated)

this is our go to place for special occasions and romantic dinners. close to home and never leave feeling disappointed. i absolutely love the decor, makes me feel as if i'm in a hotel somewhere far away. the service is great and the food is always amazing.

i took my now wife there on our first date. had an enormous and stunning sea food platter which suffice it to say had the desired impression in my date and now wife. splendid range of beautifully delivered food

the food and service are good! i just feel that it could be better! i felt that most of what i had eaten i could have had at another restaurant or... possibly made myself! no wow factor!

food was good. presented well vibe was good. lamb shank was cooked to perfection and the meat slipped from the bone. fresh veg and a delicious mustard mash. chouriço doused with flaming liquor was very good too, giving an authentic flavour. owner surprised my step son with a birthday crème brulé. a good evening with good food and excellent service. marisela veludo

of all the pigalle restaurants this is our go to for special occasions and a lot of family lunches. you will not be disappointed. their prawns, seafood platters and any of the fish dishes are excellent. they definitely make the best portuguese steak in town, cooked to perfection and your liking. their delicious selection of desserts, is irresistible but my favourite is definitely the creme brûlée and chocolate fondant. bon appetit !

i was invited for dinner with four of my guy friends and they forgot to make a reservation. when we got there they only had a table for 4 available.. but the manager organised a new, larger table to be brought in! very impressive!

the food was stunning! i had the pigelle platter. the prawns and langoustines were divine. the waiter was excellent and very attentive.

but the absolute highlight of the evening was the delicious creme brulee! definitely the best one i've ever had!
