first time. went here this past weekend. good service, a little pricey, but the quality was good. the brisket was a little fatty, corn was awesome. the big floyd was awesome. my only suggestion would be to switch from a regular roll to texas toast. i know asking for vegan options seems a bit strange at a bbq place, but my fiance had the fried tempeh (a carnivore describing vegatarian options is a stretch) i think, and she did seem super stoked. the place just opened so they deserve some grace. good beer selection.

kinda weird. went in for first time and asked for platter with pork and brisket. "sorry, cannot combine. only order what is on the menu." never went to a bbq restaurant that couldn't make a two meat platter. oh well

easily the best bar b q in orlando!. quite simply the best bar b q experience i have ever had in orlando. great atmosphere as well as great food made for an over the top dining experience. prices are extremely reasonable given the quality of ingredients and meats used. these guys really care about the integrity of good food and it shows! a must visit spot!

great ribs....tacos ok.. i had a very good lunch here today, highlighted by the ribs. they, quite frankly, are outstanding. i think they could easily be the best in orlando, and i've had most of the better slabs. the rub on these are fantastic, and don't need any of the extra sauce provided. really well done. the beer menu is fantastic, everyone was super friendly and i experienced great service.

i was, however, disappointed in the taco i had. i had the sausage and shrimp, and i think a simple fix can really improve the tacos on the menu. the shell comes cold, and ruins the temperature of the dish. cold shell, cold plate = below average taco. a warmer for the plates, or a warm shell would do amazing things to this dish. the flavors were wonderful but the external temperature ruined the taco, it was really too bad.

awesome!. hmm my review didn't post the first time, so hoping it doesn't repeat lol. i went to pig floyd's tonight for a friends' birthday, and i'm sold! definitely coming back! i tried the 50 mills cheesesteak which was incredible and finished the night off with the black and tan for dessert. it's a very delicious, chocolatey pudding with chunks of brownie and cookie dough. yum! even their corn on the cob was amazing! i know what you're thinking..."how can corn be amazing...there is only so much you can do with corn, why are we even talking about this?" trust me and try the corn. if you want fresh, quality bbq that's reasonably priced, go here. great place to chill with friends and get yummy food.

awesome!. if you want good, quality bbq, go to pig floyd's. i went there for the first time for a friends' birthday and plan on going back soon! i had the cheesesteak which is amazing and capped off the night with the black and tan for dessert. even their corn is incredible! i know what you're thinking...."it's corn....there is only so much you can do with corn, why are we even talking about this? " just trust me and try it. great food, reasonably priced for fresh food, and great atmosphere to chill with your friends. enjoyed it very much.

great barbecue. love the different take on barbecue and use of beets in the bahn mi.

a lot of barbecue places really over-salt their meat. floyd must be on a reduced sodium diet or something because he came out just right.

staff was friendly and patient. have to laugh at customers confused at having to wait during opening week of a restaurant and wanting to give suggestions of how they could run the restaurant better.

keep smoking the meat and the raving reviews will keep coming in. i'm sure the queue will work itself out in the next couple weeks. then it will be smoke signals day and night.

too long a wait for any food!. went to pigs floyd tonight to try it out. the line to order went pretty quickly, about 10 min, then nothing. we sat outside waiting on our food for and hour. i had to ask the servers if they would mind getting me a refill in my drink which he never brought back. i ended up asking another waiter for it. finally we gave up and asked for our money back, which took another 10 minutes for them to figure out how to refund our money. they did offer to wrap up the food and give it to us for free to go but it was really too late at that point. if one of the servers had come around to check how we were doing or to apologize for the delay, or to offer to try to expedite our food that would have gone a long way to making a bad situation more bearable. unfortunately they didn't. will i ever go back to give it another chance? probably not.

waiting.... i ordered my food about an hour ago and still haven't received it. this is unacceptable. they're not even busy.

so yummy!!. we have been waiting for pig floyd's to open and the day finally came! you order at the cashier then the food is prepared at brought to your table. the prices are very reasonable! service was friendly, genuine and prompt. the owner was even out and about saying hello, running food and helping out. we got a ton of food for about $35. they also seemed to have good drink choices but we skipped out on the alcohol this trip. we waited about 45 minutes for our food but i attribute that to opening day. however, our meals were so worth the wait that i beg them never to change the timing if the 45 minutes was necessary. (seriously, please, please, please do not sacrifice the quality of your food for speed and crowds like a certain local bbq place did).

we tried all 4 tacos on the menu, the whole rack of ribs, corn on the cob, and fries with fancy sauce. there was nothing on the plates that we didn't love! the ribs fell off the bones. the spicy bbq sauce was so delicious - still had sweetness too it but it wasn't overbearing. all 4 tacos were so unique and flavorful. i would get each and every one again. personal favorite with the chicken al pastor - due to the sweetness from the pineapple. my next favor was mint in the shrimp & sausage taco really added a nice element to the taco. the sides we got were also tasty but i would not say remarkable or out of the ordinary. however the fries were elevated to spectacular because of the fancy sauce! dang was that stuff good! i will definitely try some of the other sides next time like the fried yuca or fried plantains.

all in all a great place and i can't wait to go back!!!

they will have a nice variety of sauces from the traditional sweet bbq & hot bbq to the exotic dragon sauce and indian inspired tikka masala sauce.

vegetarians do not be disheartened, they will be able to make many items with tofu and will have some solid salads & meat free side dishes.

salads include one with baby kale, roasted peppers and bbq croutons, another has field greens, spiced walnuts, apples, beets, fennel & goat cheese.

they are going to have a great outdoor seating area and eventually some pig roasts!
