hillsboro's best place to eat. love love love this place! the real highlight (and this is where no one can touch them) is the broth. you can tell this stuff has been going for a while: extraordinary depth and umami character.

this place is exceeded only by home cooking. if you don't want to spend a day in the kitchen, you can't do better than the soup at phovietrestaurant. they do everything right here. the noodles have just enough snap and my bowl is always filled with high-quality beef. great textures everywhere... they even blanch the mung bean sprouts!

the place is an absolute delight!

a must go to enjoy good vietnamese food.

phovietmight be the nicest and cleanest of the cabramatta pho places (i might also have said they had the best service but they completely forgot my coffee) yet it might also be the cheapest - $12.50 for pho tai, a small size but even the competitors who don't force you to get a large are $13 for small now. the pho had a mild flavour, i'd prefer it heavier but it was still tasty and packed with good rare beef.

well what's there to say... phovietis one of our favourite pho restaurants in the area. came here for dinner last night and their pho broth as always is nice and flavourful, their rare beef is tender. quality pho to be had here.

i was really hungry and forgot to take photos before dunking my rare beef so the pics do it justice.

after retiring my childhood fave pho tau bay, phovietis my second go-to spot for pho. the pho is solid - good flavour and the meat is always tender. the spring rolls are delicious and they give you lots of herbs and lettuce to accompany. however, i’d say the crispy chicken with red rice is a bit meh. overall, a place you really can’t go wrong with! definitely worth a shot.

this place is known for its mi quang, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. the egg noodles are silky smooth - different to what i was expecting since they’re the fat noodles instead of thin ones but honestly i loved it like that. everything just works so well in this dish! i wish there was more than just 2 prawns but i mean you can’t really ask for much when it’s only $14.

deeeeelicious! if you’re looking for some differentvietfood to try other than pho, don’t go past this place. authentic food from the central part of vietnam. 👌🏼

phovietis a casual eatery in cabramatta which offers some solid vietnamese fare. often overlooked by diners who head to heavyweights tanvietand pho tau bay, phovietis special in its own way and worthy for a try.

i ordered their mi quang, or homemade yellow noodles with prawns, crab meat and pork. the springy and soft yellow noodles were delicious and the addition of dried shrimps and peanuts added texture and flavour to the flavourful bowl of noodles. however, my meal was spoilt by the reticent addition of msg. otherwise, i would rate them much higher and probably on par with the above two restaurants.

after the recent renovation that phoviethas undergone, it has never been any better! if you're after affordable, authentic vietnamese food, this is the place to be.

my go-to dish is the mi quang and let me tell you, it is the bomb. the last time i had this was when i was in vietnam and phovietdid not do me any disappointment with their speciality dish. the handmade noodles and depth of flavour within the dish really takes it to another level.

another dish i'd recommed trying is their special pho bowl. definitely one of the top contenders for one of the best pho in sydney in my books.

i do think they could work on improving their service but other than that, i will be definitely coming back.

phovietwas recently renovated and it didn't disappoint!
this place served the best quality special beef noodle soup i have had in a long time. their beef slices were thick and tender. sauces provided were not watered down.
decor was fantastic and a definite upgrade!

this place specialises in mi quang a hand made egg noodles with pork, prawns, prawn mince and pieces of crab in some soup. i could eat this everyday!! phóvietis the only place i've located this in sydney.

i love this dish so much, i went over to try this dish from where it originated from in...

i'm clearly not vietnamese, but eating at phovietis like eating at mumma's house. the pho. i just can't go anywhere else (except when in vietnam)...i feel like i'm cheating on phovietif i try someone else's broth...and somehow i think they'll find out and be disappointed!

i recommend:
the pho
mi quang nam (crab noodle soup)
special pork chop with broken rice
the iced coffees

coming all these years it's nice to become a familiar face too (lovely staff).

phovietis widely known for their phở, many rave about it, but there are other options that you should also try. it’s on the quiet end of cabramatta’s main strip and also happens to be the only place you can find mì quảng in the area.i’d say that mì quảng is to central vietnam what phở is to northern vietnam – a staple in the family diet, often enjoyed with others on a cold day. if your mom makes it often, you’d probably defend hers as the best you’ve ever had. that’s the kind of dish it is.

phovietwas busy with a menu which was both short and long – longer than a pho only establishment, but luckily shorted than some 20 page menus found in cross cuisine establishments. the tables featured accompaniments, boxes of tissues and holders with cutlery. it also came with nice tea, with a pleasant sweet flavour. this took me back to both vietnam and the more authentic of the adelaide/north western pho shops of south australia. i ordered my favourite, pho bo tai nam. it was served with a generous plate of vietnamese basil, bean sprouts and a lemon we

this is the benchmark of pho. i tend to try pho everywhere i go, and as it stands, the pho served here has become the benchmark. i've had pho in canada, los angeles, melbourne, sydney and new zealand, and phovietstill is the best in my opinion.
the staff is super friendly and always greet you with a smile. they never rush you when you're finished (like another well known place in bankstown), and are very courteous.
i recently came back from la, and could not wait to get a fabulous pho from pho viet.

phovietis one of the first restaurants you pass as you enter john street. apparently it has been around for 30 years so it has to be good. it's also one of luke nguyen's (of red lantern fame) top choices for pho.
