great food and definitely worth the wait.
when i found outpghtaco truck was going to be near my house from 5-9pm i immediately made plans to go. i arrived at 5:15 and the window had not yet opened. there was a line of about 10 people. the first taco wasn't served until about 5:35. i got my taco around 6:15. while waiting in line i was slightly annoyed at the long wait however the fantastic food was well worth the wait! i had the chorizo taco which was amazing. the spicy jerk chicken taco was good but a little too spicy for my liking. my favorite was the thai peanut chicken. definitely will be back for more!

i'm craving more. the tacos are awesome. i've been followingpghtaco truck on social media for a while now but can never seem to catch up with them. last weekend, i finally got to try them at the mt. lebanon art fair. they were well worth the wait. we tried the chorizo taco and the jerk chicken. both we so flavorful, fresh, and delicious. i can't wait to try more.

right...personal beef. nothing to do at all with the fact that i waited nearly 70 minutes in your line and when i mentioned it to you i got an earful. treat your customers with a little more respect. doesn't seem to me line you have it in you to take this feedback and learn from it. prediction -pghtaco truck will be out of business by jan 2015.

this guy is a nut. he thinks he's bobby flay. dude makes tacos that are average at best but treats his customers like they are dirt. avoid this guy at all costs.

thepghtaco truck is an experience, delicious food, fun music and great people. the braised beef melts in your mouth and tastes like your mama made it and the curried potatoes must have crack in them, because you can't stop eating them.pghtaco truck is love in a shell and a visit with friends. : )

i have been following thepghtaco truck on twitter for a while now but have’t had the chance to match up their schedule and visit them. this week at work we were running a few errands and driving on perry hwy when i noticed thepghtaco truck was parked out in front of coffee buddha. we decided to stop by and i was very happy that we did. i ordered: 1/3 lb angus ground beef cheddar jack salsa spicy jerked chicken avocado cream chicken bacon cheddar sriracha cream the taco shells must be home made because they were excellent. the ground beef was pretty hefty in size and i would get it again but nothing to make it really stand out like the others. i tried the chicken bacon next…oh man, this was fantastic. i wish i would’ve ordered more to go! chicken, good! bacon, good! cheese, good! put them all together and add some sriracha cream and you’ve got yourself a taco that i will be coming back for (hopefully it is on the menu next time!). the spicy jerked chicken had a nice kick to it, mo

unique and tasty!. whether you are looking for a unique taste or more of the typical taco fare, thepghtaco truck is a must-stop at any round-up. word of warning: they tend to get the biggest lines (blame the organic ingredients and fresh taste), so be sure to get there early!

i had the jerk chicken with avocado cream and curried potato with siracha lime cream, and both were amazing. i'd recommend either. my boyfriend had the "regular" beef, and was also impressed. the shells are nice and warm, and they come with plenty of filling--almost enough for two tacos in one (but definitely try more than one taco while you're there).

it doesn't matter if you are gluten-free, vegetarian, or a happy carnivore, they've got something for everyone (and siracha. everyone knows how much better a taco tastes with siracha).

ohhh yummm. my husband and i went to thepghtaco truck for lunch and loved everything about it! the korean kimchi is delicious, but the jamaican jerk chicken is my favorite!!! james was super nice and took time to talk with us a while. everything was fresh and tasty. i love that when thepghtaco truck is not open, they support local businesses, like in suggesting casa rasta and smoke. two of my other favorite places! :) thepghtaco truck is a gem and a great addition to pittsburgh in general!

great food, great conversation. i was fortunate enough to visit thepghtaco truck before moving across the country a few weeks ago. i made it out to coffee buddha on a tuesday right before james closed up for the night and didn't have to wait at all to place my order.

i tried two different tacos and both were absolutely incredible. the first i tried was the "americano" with ground beef, cheddar, and salsa which i really enjoyed, but the chicken, bacon, and cheddar with chili lime ranch was what really wowed me. i wish i had ordered more.

i was able to talk with james for a short while and he told me about pittsburgh food trucks in los angeles i could check out when i moved.

i highly recommend paying a visit to the taco truck. i'd also suggest visiting on more than one day as the menu is always different. you can usually see the menu and weekly schedule by following thepghtaco truck on facebook. i can't wait to come back and try more.

sadly, underwhelmed.. after following thepghtaco truck online for weeks we finally made it out to the truck. sadly, the entire experience was a bit underwhelming. the tacos are tasty, we got 2 korean tacos, 1 pork, and a jerk, but pricey (four tacos came to about 20 dollars) and not so tasty that i wouldn't rather have renya's 2 for $5.00 from the strip.

also it seems that the owner has a bit of an attitude, making sarcastic and times argumentative comments, even berating a customer on his facebook page for being upset about waiting 2 hours a few days ago. we only waited one hour, but were only 12 people back, and as pretty regular food truck-ie, that is pretty slow pace. this business has promise if more effort and customer service is put into action.

we will definitely give this truck the benefit of the doubt and another try, as local restaurant/food truck supporters we really, really want to support it.
