very good. so we went late on a saturday night. we didn't have reservations but only had towait10 minutes. from what i've heard reservations are highly recommended during the prime hours. anyways, we had an excellent meal (the 4 course meal for 2 - $39.99). had the honey chicken with brown rice and was very impressed. the courses arrived fast and the service was great.

i recall fondly eating at pf chang's in metairie, la in 2002 and have subsequently eaten here a few times over the years. sadly this now taste like frozen food that has been heated and served. this visit we started with chicken satay and found it to be good enough- probably the best dish that we had on this day. i had walnut shrimp with melon and really did not like it. i love shrimp, walnuts, and honeydew melon, but the sauce tasted like sweetened mayonnaise and i did not like it. my dining partner had korean bbq chicken and left much on her plate. i sampled the bbq and was not impressed.    thewaitstaff was okay, but he did act a little too familiar and chummy for my comfort. also the patrons at this nice central fort worth location appeared as if they had all just come in from the country to have a fun day in the "big city". this was overall not a pleasant dining experience.

enjoyed a meal at the new newport news p. f. chang’s last night. the food was fantastic; the décor was amazingly dark yet somehow inviting. i ordered 3 appetizers (small plates & dim-sum) but the food appeared to be more than enough (lettuces wrap, spare ribs and dumplings). my grubbing partner ordered even more filling dishes (mongolian beef and lo mein). the food was wonderful, and thewaitstaff was diverse, attentive and welcoming. the restaurant was seriously packed for a tuesday night. the only drawback was that we felt rushed by thewaitstaff’s desire to replace our table with new patrons that kept coming in. otherwise i’d go back there to try the other delicious items on their menu.

very strange visit. our waiter was so nice and attentive. however, he pulled my pet peeve. he did not write down our order and then messed up both orders.

also we had towaitalmost 10 minutes to be sat with only 4 full tables in the restaurant.

our mistake orders were pretty darn good.

just a weird visit.

i like the food and thewaitstaff was great. apparently because it's a large chain they are required to measure to a "t" the alcohol going into drinks or risk being fired, this made it so our drinks took almost a half hour to be brought to our table. our poor waitress kept apologizing and we told her we understood it was policy, not her creating the lag. if we go back we probably won't order drinks.

inconceivable!. okay, so it's a busy night, but we did have a reservation and showed up on time...which didn't prevent a shortwaitfor a table. no problem. appetizers came and were okay. then the kitchen/waitstaff managed to bring the wrong entree not once but twice (looking at us in disbelief), the sweet and sour pork that was correct on the order was...pork on a plate (no sauce), the "lemon" chicken wasn't, and to top off the evening, my mother-in-law was served a solid frozen block of something with peanuts that they said was tiramisu. half-sincere apologies twice and a $10 gift card "for your next visit". hope i can sell that on ebay 'cause i'm not going back.

better swing for the fence.... i really liked p.f. chang's the first time i went. my kung-pao chicken was really good and the hot chili peppers gave it quite a kick. since then, i've had a few p.f. chang's meals from the frozen food section of the grocery store, and on my subsequent two visits i thought the food in the restaurant tasted a lot like the frozen meals. the food seemed really bland, especially the dan dan noodles, which are billed as a spicy dish. thewaittimes can be pretty long for dinner. it's just not worth thewaitand the money for bland food covered in a semi-sweet glaze. i'm not opposed to going back once more, but chang's is about to strike out with me.

always great. we have always had great food and service here. any minor flaw we have come across has always been courteously & quickly resolved. if you know your going, be sure to make a reservation, thewaitcan be lengthy at times.

nice experience. a friend has been wanting to take me to p.f. chang's for quite some time. we finally did it on saturday. we arrived early (no reservation) to beat the crowd - or so we thought. we were told there'd be a 40-50 minute wait. others arriving soon thereafter were told that it was up 90+ minutes. they do have the remote pagers that work throughout bridgeport village which is a nice touch so you're not stuck in their lobby.

the decor is beautiful, but the acoustics are lousy. it was extremely loud and difficult to carry on a conversation. they had outdoor seating (with heaters) that they finally opened up and reduced thewaittime.

we opted for the p.f. changs for two - a four course meal for $39.95. we started with the chicken lettuce wraps. you assemble them yourself at the table. they were tasty and a really nice deviation from the typical appetizer. our server mixed the sauce at our table, but did so without asking our spice preference. the hot & sour soup was dark and flavorful, but lacked in any sort of sour.

we also had the kung pao shrimp and the sesame chicken. the kung pao was quite different than any other i've ever had. there really wasn't a sauce, it was more of a coating on the shrimp. they were tasty, but my friend commented that they are usually crispier. the sesame chicken was very flavorful.

we had the chocolate peanut butter crunch for dessert. it was probably half the full portion and was the perfect size for dessert. sadly, however, it was dry and lacking in much flavor.

overall, i enjoyed the meal and will go back. however, i was not "wowed" like i had hoped.

take it or leave it. urbanspoon needs a rating somewhere between like-it and don't-like-it. i would use it here. i can't say i don't like it, but can't find a reason to like it, especially rave about it. it is never my choice to eat there, but end up there a few times a year for birthday dinners or something. i have never complained about the food, but i agree with the other comments about the service, noise, and wait. i also don't get why peoplewaitso long to eat there. first of all, be sure to call ahead for seating. then, be prepared for the prices. you can find better food at a better price, but people always end up at p.f. changes somehow!

this is our favorite chinese place. yeah, i know it's a chain, but when it's great, it's great. love the lettuce chicken wraps, love the honey chicken, and their kung pao chicken/shrimp is so crunchy and tasty, i actually get cravings for it. i'd give this place a 5 of 5 star rating. thewaitstaff is knowledgable and friendly. bar staff ain't too stingy with their drinks either.

this place has terrible service...had towaitforever & the server passed our table a handful of times without acknowledging our table. the server spent more time in the back of the restaurant than actually serving tables. other people that arrived after us were were eating before us. made uswait20 minutes to refill green tea. spend your money & time elsewhere! this girl desiree was terrible & never even apologized for her terrible service of lack of enthusiasm! seriously if you're reading this here's the clear sign that you need to not eat here!!!

we promptly arrive at 7pm and was not seated until 830pm after being promised numerous times of being next on "the list.". a twenty five minutewaitbecame an hour and a half! finally after being seated, drink orders were taken and was not served until another 20 minutes later. mind you these were just regular tea and soda drink orders. food was good but time management was terrible all together. plan on staying here for at least 5 hours to eat because of slow food service. i would understand if this happened during rush times on a weekend but on a late thursday?! the restaurant was half full.
