just like family breakfast!. i was very happy with my visit to perk. recently, one of my co-workers came in to work raving about the breakfast he had at perk, insisting i try them out as well. well i figure, who am i turn down such an endorsement? i couldn't be happier that i listened to him.
first off, the atmosphere. this felt to me just like sitting around at a table at home with the family for a good old home cooked breakfast. the staff were all extremely friendly and good humored. all the patrons were relaxed and smiling. everything was just right.
then we get the food... not only did it come out very quickly, but wow was it great. i actually had a lot of trouble deciding from the menu, everything looked so good. so i decided to go with a special the waitress mentioned which wasn't on the menu; biscuits and gravy. simply put: wow. i may have had better gravy before, but i honestly can't remember when. i was in love from the first bite. the portion was absolutely perfect as well. i finished up my breakfast and was quite full, without being too stuffed.
needless to say i will be returning here. this has become my new breakfast joint in the area. even for lunch. because breakfast food isgreatany time of the day.
