our group had a large booking, and while we were unable to secure the timeslot that we'd have liked, the staff at peko peko were very accommodating in ensuring that our orders were delivered in a timely manner.

the group thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and many expressed interest in wanting to come back to try the other dishes.

a huge thank you to the staff who made our dining experience a memorable one!

yesterday was my second time eating taiwanese food and i really enjoyed it!
i’ve been hearing about this place from a few taiwanese friends for quite a while and i finally decided to pay a visit. definitely worth my 50min drive! food is pretty traditional and very tasty. favourite dish: bang bang squid!

highly rated, excellent top notch modern taiwanese cuisine hidden at quiet wells st, south melbourne. absolutely enjoyed their small starters, especially pop chicken, just wings, wasabi mayo prawn and perfect soup formosa on cold weather. a must come for taiwanese food lover. very busy restaurant, best to come around 2-4pm, or early dinner at 5-6pm.

the dishes here can be very sweet, which can be a plus or minus. for me, it was great at the start but it was quickly became too much. on the last visit, we definitely had this problem with the crispy beef. their chicken pop though was as good as i remembered many years ago. i
it's highly recommended. as for the drink, again it was super sweet but arguably still nice

amazing place! would rank one of the top restaurants in melbourne :)
delicious food, great ambience and superb staff!
quality of service and taste of food is second to none. make it more exclusive that it's hidden away. absolutely loved it! will definitely go again.

we had silky egg tofu , chilli prawn fried noodles ( not spicy, very mild ) and pop chicken.

i had two days on puking and diarrhea after eating the food here!!
rice is not cooked properly with the oil quality which he adds on the dish.

pop chicken messed my health.

stir fries are horrible..

stupidity is people are still immune to this food and i do not know their immunity levels in their systems because of the location.

sooo surprise that melbourne has this fabulous taiwanese cuisine, and that is why soooo many people waiting in lunch and dinner time.

they open at 5pm, remember to book a table through zomato or you might have to wait for a long time.

also they need you finish your dinning in 2 hours, i think the time is enough if you are not going to hold a party there.

the sausage fried rice is great. highly recommend!
ginger beef has the tradition chinese cuisine taste it is a good choice. and the chicken no adjective can describe. in a word, best taiwanese restaurant in melb ;)

this place is always packed and for good reason, i have never had a bad dish from here it is around the corner from work and have sampled quite a good selection of the menu the broccoli side salad is a must. the pop chicken, singapore noodles, mince mince, wonton noodle soup are my stand outs. friendly staff cute little restaurant definitely worth a visit.

i'm in love! why haven't i been here before? i've been missing out all these years.
amazing flavours, the chilli calamari is so good! crispy calamari with sweet, spicy, sticky sauce.
my daughter loved the pop chicken with the addition of five spice. different but fantastic!
prawn with wasabi was light and flavourful. the ginger steamed fish was so delicate and moist and delicious.
a variety of healthy and indulgent options.
great flavour combinations and super tasty!
looking forward to my next visit, to try some different dishes. can't wait!

your best pick for taiwanese dish which is famous for their deep fried styled food. every dish is bold tasty flavours (crispy with sweet, tangy, spicy sauce). my recommended dish is wasabi mayo beef, pop chicken, pepper garlic crispy beef.

it's best to come in a group of 3 or more people, since their dish is designed to be shared (2 dish for 3 people or more if you want big meal). unfortunately, the price is bit expensive with $3 for a bowl of rice.

i come to this place regularly and they always busy. i recommend to put reservation beforehand otherwise you will have to wait for a while especially for dinner.

we’d needed reservations for a monday evening dinner at 8pm - the place was packed and buzzing with conversation ✌🏽

interesting / large menu and wine list.

the meals and drinks arrived real quick and was delish.
but nothing that would have me headed back here anytime soon.

place is a little dated - i’d give it a 3.5 rating if i could but bumped to 4 star to avoid the -ve tag to my post.

dinner for 2 / beers around 75 bucks.
