our group had a large booking, and while we were unable to secure the timeslot that we'd have liked, the staff at peko peko were very accommodating in ensuring that our orders were delivered in a timely manner.

the group thoroughly enjoyed thefoodand atmosphere, and many expressed interest in wanting to come back to try the other dishes.

a huge thank you to the staff who made our dining experience a memorable one!

highly rated, excellent top notch modern taiwanese cuisine hidden at quiet wells st, south melbourne. absolutely enjoyed their small starters, especially pop chicken, just wings, wasabi mayo prawn and perfect soup formosa on cold weather. a must come for taiwanesefoodlover. very busy restaurant, best to come around 2-4pm, or early dinner at 5-6pm.

delicious food, great ambience and superb staff!
quality of service and taste offoodis second to none. make it more exclusive that it's hidden away. absolutely loved it! will definitely go again.

we had silky egg tofu , chilli prawn fried noodles ( not spicy, very mild ) and pop chicken.

i had two days on puking and diarrhea after eating thefoodhere!!
rice is not cooked properly with the oil quality which he adds on the dish.

pop chicken messed my health.

stir fries are horrible..

stupidity is people are still immune to thisfoodand i do not know their immunity levels in their systems because of the location.

just been there last night, the service was great and the menu was easy to understand with english/chinese.

yeah, the taiwanesefoodjust like a style combination of chinese, japanese and south asian.

as a taiwanese, this restaurant is quite authentic as compares with taiwanese local cuisine in spite of it is located in melbourne, it is a must place to visit where it can truly impact your impression of taiwanese cuisine.

by the way, they offer the taiwan beer too!

a very different dining experience at this place. great staff. they are very helpful.
the presentation of thefoodis awesome and beautiful.
fried rice is just so very different
they put okonomiyaki sauce and mayo which gives a very special kick.
salt and pepper squid is delicious. very chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside.
we totally love the popcorn chicken with the mayo and that’s a hit with the kids. they have a very generous amount of mayo on the side.
cold noodle is with miso paste which is not too much of my liking.
having said that, it is an awesome dining experience.

a real shame that their 'prawn dumplings' for $12 is simply 4 har gow style dumplings... way overpriced. the rest of thefoodwas fine (singapore noodles and teriyaki fish fillet) but don't order dumplings!

cozy little gem tucked away in south melbourne. thefoodhere will make you feel like you're eating with locals in taiwan. everything is so tasty and homely, and the portions are huge. love love love it. the items on the specials menu are a must try. i love the singapore noodles, homely chicken and prawn noodles, miso soup, crispy calamari and of course the fried chicken.

small wonder it was full on a tuesday. thefoodis extraordinary. the specials menu included some very ambitious little bites - prawns, peanuts spice and beautifully presented. main menu pork dumplings done perfectly. best singapore noodles around. highly recommended local eatery worth travelling to.

came here for dinner after a walk in the tan. we ordered a little too much friedfood😂 but they were all delicious. i loved the texture of the taiwanese noodles, beautiful sauce well balanced with steamed vege. loved the custard milk fried chicken so sinful but so delicious. the 5 spice calamari was good too. service is good and fast.

came here again for lunch with a larger group and this time we tried a few more dishes, also their drinks and dessert. both were well done, artistically presented and flavoursome.
