unimpressive for the price. first of all, i went with a large group and, as i don't like seafood, i didn't try any of it. i heard the jumbalaya wasgoodwith a medium spice, and i did try some of the alligator appetizer. the breading greatly masked the flavor of the meat, which is a little fishy by nature. i ordered the chicken breast with the bourbon glaze, and was slightly disappointed: the breast was not seasoned. the glaze was the only flavor. while the glaze was all right, it was unimpressive. the rice that came with it (although the menu said mashed potatoes) was rice-a-roni, or a copycat of it. the red beans and rice was red beans with the same rice-a-roni. passable but nothing interesting, especially for the price (14.99). the presentation of the plate was like my brother fixed it: rice slopped on one side of the breast with the glaze dribbled over it, and the small bowl of red beans and rice beside it. i was, overall, unimpressed. the service was ok. for a place that proudly displayed it's "voted best seafood" titles, i expected a bit more bang for the buck--seafood or not. many people, however, told me the ribs were quite good.
