pearl's crabtown

waited for ever. we were told that they could not seat partial parties and then as we waited 2 partial paries were seated in front ouf us almost immediately. we wound up waiting an hr. at the 50 min mark i asked how much longer they thought it would be and was berated by the blue shirt mngr with phrases such as, i cant make people eat faster and i cant make people leave. when i asked him why he was acting like that , he responded sarcastically i am trying to give you a full and complete answer. if we had not been there at the request of a 10 yo b day boy you can bet we would have spent our money elsewhere.

horrible horrible horrible experience!. me and a friend of mine went to crab town yesterday for dinner. we ordered alligator tail fried, which turned out very well, so all was looking good. i ordered the rib-eye (med-rare) special with snow crab legs and mashed potatoes. my friend ordered the craw-fish etouffee.
when my order arrived the steak was brown all the way through, and paper thin, and the crab legs were so water logged that the shell would not even snap when i tried to crack them. so i sent it all back. the manager came over and tried to show off his crab removing skills.he came off very pretentious. he was very condescending as if i didn't know how to remove crab properly, and it was my fault that the crab was horrible.
the second one came out and this time the steak was way under cooked, but i decided i would take it home and reheat it later instead of risking yet another trip to the kitchen. the crab legs were slightly better than the first batch, and being from florida, i figured it was the best i could get in oklahoma. they were still over cooked and stuck to the shell, tearing and ripping the crab to shreds.
service was alright, though the waitress seemed to be having a bad day and was not very friendly, or prompt. today, i carefully reheated my steak (which i do regularly with left over restaurant steaks) and when i bit into that steak it tasted like high school cafeteria food! it was so disgusting i wouldn't have given it to my dog!
it was so over processed it literally fell apart! a burger from mcdonald's is less processed than that steak was! i have eaten at pearls many times but have never gotten the steak and crab legs and if this is what they serve i wont ever get it... if i ever go back to any of those restaurants again!

terrible customer service. the hostess acted extremely rude when we asked for a different seating option other than the first one she offered. i was under the impression it was there job to seat people, obviously she isn't in the business of making sure the customer is happy. after sitting down for a few moments we decided this was not the restaurant for us and went to nonna's down the street... great food and nice staff there!

no thanks. i hadn't been to pearls in forever and i will probably not ever want to go to crabwtown again. first the service was awful...really really bad. and the server never acknowledged that he was horrible which is even more annoying. no sorry you waited for over 10 minutes before i came to take your drink order....sorry i got your order wrong....nothing. food wasn't all that great and def not good enough to make up for the horrible service.

love this place!. love the peel and eat shrimp and the gumbo is awesome!!! can't beat the $5.00 hurricanes either!! my husband and i go at least couple times a month. his is one of his favorite restaurants to eat.

after sitting for an hour and 15 minutes, our party grabbed a manager to ask what was going on. the manager left after saying our food was in the window and then our checks arrived. our table was never cleaned in that hour, our drinks were not refilled...total bs. never bring a large group to this resteraunt. i was not impressed by the two appetizers we had either even after they stagnated on our table for 45 minutes. crappy service to say the least! not satisfied and ended up eating at ihop.

what happened?. i enjoyed crabtown when i worked closer and ate there whenever i could. my favorite lunch there was fried catfish, waffle fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and a cup of clam chowder. it had been almost a year since the last time i dined there until my wife and i happened to be in the area. i'm not sure what has happened, but i now have an idea why they weren't busy. the catfish was fine, thank goodness, because everything else had taken a turn for the worse. the waffle fries were more like lukewarm potato jerky, the slaw was almost room temperature and had very little flavor, the tartar sauce was basically mayonnaise in a cup, and the clam chowder (which used to be so thick and full of clams your spoon would almost stand up in it) was almost watery and tasted like it came from a can marked campbell's. this will quite likely be my last visit to crabtown. i really wish it wasn't so.

i haven't had any problems until today. my wife and i arrived for lunch to find another couple waiting impatiently. after a few minutes, the greeter showed up and seated them. she returned and told us there would be a wait due to a lack of servers. she couln't give us an estimate of how long it would take. the manager was nowhere to be seen. since we have a limited lunch hour, we had nochoice but to leave. i am absolutely disappointed that this location can't provide even a reasonable level of service at the door. take your chances here at lunchtime!

the problem i had was that all the on-line menu prices listed the king crab dinner at $46.00. i saw the restaurant menu listed market price, but i thought that meant $46.00. yes, i should have asked since i did not know what that meant. when the bill came the king crab dinner was $83.00 and this did not include anything else. my total bell with 2 buds and the legs was over $99.00. i know that might not be much to most people, but for me that is a lot of money. the chef and the waitress both told me that they have no control over the internet prices and i do agree. i just want everyone else to know what to expect before you order.

my wife and i ate lunch here to commemorate a birthday and the food, atmosphere, hospitality was fantastic. great cajun cuisine...has the crab dip for a starter and mahi mahi for lunch. exceptional taste. price for lunch wasn’t highway robbery. barely mentioned the birthday to the server and they without prompting brought a nice sized ice cream sundae out. limited free parking to the west of the restaurant entrance. will come back for dinner to sample more of the menu!

great food and awesome service. i highly recommend crabtown. they knocked it out of the park! i had the clam chowder and the seafood boil... it was spot on.

the manager is terrible. our friends had their wedding reception there and for a gift the grooms men received a flask. one of the boys forgot the flask there (was empty all night) and tried to go pick it up next day. the manger wouldn’t even say that they had it but instead decided to say that they should have canceled the party and called the police. if you you have event at your restraunt, you should understand that not everything is going to go 100% your way. come to find out that the manger spoke with the bride the day after the wedding and was disrespectful to her... the day after her wedding! we will never go there again and i advise you to take your service to an establishment that is more customer service oriented. we will be reaching out to this manger directly as he should have exceptional customer service and is supposed to set the example for his employees. i am very disappointed.

sub par cajun food that is way over priced. the rice was under cooked and the beans were over cooked. we had three different dishes and they tasted exactly the same.
the wait staff was friendly.

don’t go here. service is terrible. managers are rude. stay away there are tons of better places fir the money. not recommended
