had heard about this place a lot so went with great expectations. for the views and location i would give 10/10, as for the restaurant ambience, it's pretty decent. talking about the food now, very limited menu, the taste of the food is very average but the price on themenuis highly overrated. so i would recommend this place only if you want to enjoy some coffee and snacks with a good view.

the patio restaurant is a definite go-to place for anyone who enjoys good food, super landscapes, peaceful serene surroundings along with warm and courteous staff.

ambience: the restaurant is a patio restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. the cane lampshades along with the green plants and the yellow napkins - add warmth to the interiors. i would give it 4/5.

food: themenuis interesting mix of dishes from various states of india. this is indeed a refreshing change from most menus.
drinks: the smoked chaatch is a must try. i would give it 5/5.
appetisers: the dahe ke kebab, paniyaram, chilly paneer were all exceptional
main course: the palak parathas with dal, biryani, burger, sandwich, pizza- all were exceptional.

we stayed at the place while visiting rishikesh and this was the place where we had our dinners.
the place is beautiful, nestled within the shivalik hills. the breathtaking mountains and flowing ganges provide a sense of serenity.

ambiance of the location is incomparable. and the place is perfect for a romantic getaway and candle lit dinner with live singing :-). an experience that will be remembered for a long time.

pricing wise - the price is on the higher side for the dishes and the quantity. but given the place and services offered the pricing is kind of justified.

the dishes at the place are named after the places that ganges visits/ flows through and themenucomprises of the famous dishes from each of the place respectively.
coming to the food part:
soups:
1. tomato soup: did not leave an impression. seemed a little uncooked to me. the best part were the cut garlic kind of raw that came into the mouth that would lend the much needed flavor to the soup. can be definitely missed. i will rate is as a 2/5
2. lemon coriander: i have had much much better versions of this soup. the lemon had been added so much that the soup had become bitter and i could not taste the coriander that this soup is known for. it was only lemon. the cabbage added was fibrous and not edible. this soup too i would rate it as 2/5

main course:
margarita pizza: safe play. this was thin crust pizza. very tasty perfectly cooked with generous amount of cheese. i rate it as 4/5

garhwali platter: this comprised of dal, rice, pyaaz tamatar ki sabzi, alloo ki sabzi, chutney 1 with salt, jeera, hari mirch and chutney 2 with salt, and red colored (dont know the exact ingredients).
dal and rice were very tasty, the pyaaz-tamatar sabzi lip smacking. the two chutneys with generous amount of salts lended extra flavour to the entire dish.
this dish is a must have.

hirsal platter that comprised of rajma and chawal:
the chillis served with the rajma and rice were amazing. the rajma was average.

ghat ki aloo sabzi: this was standard fare where tamatar ke shorbe ka aloo was served with puri, with hari chutney and tamatar ki meethi chutney. this dish was again average.

overall the place is a must visit for experiencing the ambiance.

sip your cuppa ..... in the foothills of shivalik mountains !!

patio is the ground level restaurant at aloha rishikesh, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. outdoor seating lets you witness the breathtaking shivalik mountain range foot hills while the holy ganges flows roaringly down across your seat. its cool and chilled out since you get the breeze across the river which hits your face while you are sitting there !

they have a fusionmenuof many cuisines, both indian, continental and italian so you can decide what you want to have or can taste a bit of everything on themenulike fusion on your platter!

food is tasty and they do make efforts to dish out the best for you. they also have a coffee machine where you can pour yourself a cuppa, directly from the machine. over all a good experience no doubt !!
