patio - aloha on the ganges

we had an amazing experience with the patio - aloha on the ganges. food were delicious and staff was super courteous. live performance by an artist was equally mesmerising. they offer costal food for each place that is being covered by maa ganges. we were hosted by kanika. me and my wife were in awe seeing her behaviour and support throughout. she ensured we did not order crazily at the same time she made sure we take enough. we ordered mustard paneer tikka, choola food from himalayan, gajar ka halwa. it was original in taste and best part is such quality food at reasonable price. a pocket friendly restaurant with 100% quality. once again sincere thanks to kanika and others for such gesture.

this restaurant don't entertain walk-in guest.only if you stays with them, you can visit this restaurant.they haven't mentioned this anywhere.security even don't let you go to reception.security behaviour at entrance is very rude.beware of this place.

there is absolutely wrong information provided this restaurant does not take walk ins. the staff is rude and unapproachable.

zomato please remove this restaurant from your listing. we called them and asked if we can come for lunch. after they confirmed on call we drove all the way to the aloha hotel only to be told that they won’t give entry to people who aren’t staying at the hotel.

amazing selection of dishes and great taste collected from across the country. very tasty food - much satisfying with the live music performance.

we ordered an aloha special pizza in ragi base and it was very delicious and crispy. we also ordered a himalayan combo it was truly divine. it's a very good restaurant with an excellent view, very hospitable staff and tasty and healthy food.

we had come in jan 2019 and the timing for dinner was till 10:30 pm and now that we has visited again they have changed the timing to cater to a wedding without any notice

the location to stay in rishilesh. the river and the mountain view is totally worth the money. surely amongst my top 3 favourite spots in rishikesh.

a day spent in the lap of nature at ‘aloha on the ganges‘ rishikesh. a b’ful place to be in natural surroundings, lush green grass, mountains 🏔 n greenery all around with fresh air which destresses the mind n body.
the lunch experience was pure food coma - and that too all veg!
from ‘go with the flow’ menu, we started with mojito, pahadi lemon 🍋 coriander soup 🍜 for rs 300/- the clear soup was very refreshing with lots of herbs in it.
from the large variety of starters ‘grills by the ganges’, we chose bhutte mattar ki seekh for rs 450/- , smoked bhuna mushroom 🍄 for rs 450/- with a strong aroma of mustard oil n herbs & palak chana tiki, a soft cheesy, non oily dish which melted in mouth instantly.
from ‘the floating market ‘we tried burmese khowsuey for rs 500/-, one of our favorites, a creamy preparation cooked in coconut 🥥 curry.
pink penne for rs 500/- from ‘penne for your thoughts’ was the kids favorite, while the elders loved the homely flavors of harsil ka no 1 rajma for rs 450/-. from ‘ganga kinare plated mains’ patna express parantha for rs 500/- was a unique preparation of parantha layered with bhuna masala sattu.
from the ‘last course‘ we had aloha special ice cream sundae for rs200/-.
a big shout out to mr.ankit rawat, who showered us with personal attention and care with a smile; and chef manoj who explained the dishes to us and sweetened our visit even more by sending complimentary desserts. this is a must visit place - not only for the large variety of mouth watering dishes, but also for their unparalleled hospitality!

fantastic place for a cozy riverside dinner. the sound of flowing water coupled with some wonderful live music makes for a lovely dining experience.

i found the food to be some of the best in rishikesh. the guava salad was an absolute delight and the khowsuey was rich and creamy. the garhwali thali, with its unique traditional preparations, is an absolute must-try! the nh2 paratha was fantastic too.

the very courteous and considerate staff made our experience even better. very very happy with the service. we had a great time!

super place to have meals . the view is breathtaking and the food very flavourful . whenever i go there would definitely have a meal . the menu is assorted and staff extremely helpful
