very nice dining experience. my wife and i went to paris 66 last weekend and we both had a great time. we had the fried artichokes for an appetizer, it was amazingly delicious, like no other artichoke i had ever had. my entree was the seared duck breast with au gratin potatos and asparagus, my wife had the ham & cheese crepe; both of these entrees were perfect. i can cook fairly well so i judge food at a restaurant in term of if i could duplicate it myself. at paris 66 the food is of such a high quality that i don't believe that i could duplicate these dishes. for dessert we both had some of their macaroons. these little pastries are so freaking good, just go buy half a dozen some day and you'll find out.

ok...i guess. i used to go there a lot with my friends and it's alright but i don't think we'll be back since every time the prices keep going up but the food quality doesn't (even though there are more options on the menu). i would expect fresh food for the prices now, but most of them are not...don't get me wrong it's not terrible, just not completely honest.

ewwwww. wow. i had been wanting to try parris 66 for awhile and what a disapointment! i went to paris 66 for lunch..the buckwheat crepes taste like cardboard and had absolutely no flavor...not even one spice. my friend got the chicken and it was minced iin such a weird way the texture was puppy chow. i got the paris 66 and it came with a sunny side up etremely runny egg in the middle (that they don't warn you about), gross! not one spice was used in the whole crepe. neith my firend or i liked our meals. i would not reccomend this testaurant at all.

ooh la la!!. what a fantastic restuarant!! the food was absolutely incredible (escargot was to die for and the moules-frites do not get any better) and the service was top-notch without being pretentious. such a quaint and delightful little treasure tucked away in the east end. treat yourself to this petit slice of paris - oh - and don't ebven think of leaving without trying one of their famous macaroons! pure. heaven. :)

poor execution. we had dinner here with another couple and although we had an enjoyable evening, the restaurant seemed to be having an "off night". we ordered a bottle of wine and did not receive water until we had almost finished the wine. no refills of water were offered for the remainder of our meal. our appetizer of stuffed shrimp arrived and sat on the table for 10 minutes before we saw our server and requested plates so that we could share the appetizer. unbelievably, we were told plates were not available due to a problem in the dish washing area! the entrees were okay, but nothing special. our server was very nice and apologetic, but something was clearly "off" the night we were there. we may give it another try.

incredible experience. i have been coming to paris 66 since it first opened and find the food consistently excellent...the eggs provencale, the crepes, the omelets, the french-toast, and most recently the wonderful macaroons made by david. i live in nyc and come to pittsburgh frequently to visit my son. i never miss a sunday when i am there to eat at paris 66. the staff is of the highest calibre. one person in particular stands out to me because of her warm and friendly manner, linda tiza. she makes everyone feel so welcome and important and is a perfect fit for paris 66. she truly understands her audience and knows how to create for them an unforgettable dining experience. she is a ray of sunshine that lights up the entire place. a "not to miss" in pittsburgh...and look for linda!

say oui to paris 66!. oh, how my heat melts at the thought of paris 66. lovely, intimate dining atmosphere and food so flavorful you'll think you are on the other side of the atlantic. i agree with other reviews; this is a fantastic brunch destination. also a great weekend lunch date with a friend. highly recommend it!! (note to diners - there is a parking lot behind the restaurant.)

wow!. my wife and i decided to celebrate the last day of our 25th year together at this restaurant. we've been to france together and were looking for a romantic evening.
we'd like to write a lengthy review but we're both exhausted. we spent a lot of money, drank a lot of champagne and stuffed ourselves with steak, crab cakes and bouillabaisse. we ate crepes, chocolate mousse and hot chocolate for desert. it was an evening for the ages. the restaurant owner, the pastry chef and our server, linda (all french expats) treated us wonderfully. we really, really, really enjoyed ourselves. we felt like we were back in paris. how lucky we were to have picked this place.

m/m. my wife orded the red snapper special. it came cold, of a leather consistency and was accompanied with plain boiled noodles - sans sauce. terrible. would have sent it back but this was a special occassion.

i ordered the tuna steak which other than being very cold, was ok.
the french bread was super. i had two orders of it.

great brunch!. the bistro is very cute, a bit small, but it was not busy when we went, so we had 0 service problems. the waitress was very nice and attentive. the food was pretty good. the macarons were tasty, and there is so much more on the menu that i'd like to go back and try.
