these guys have great beer, and the prices at the tastingroomare the lowest i have seen. theroomis nice and bustling, and they have good food trucks outside too.

cheap. decent beer. a must visit if you're doing a tour. i love their marketing and product, but their tastingroomexperience isn't my favourite. on the weekends it's usually very busy and the service isn't amazing... but you can't beat $1 tasters & $4 flights (probably a factor in the place being so packed).

the atmosphere is a cross between a college pub and bar frequented by vacationers. it's slightly different than other (often pretentious) craft breweries. the decor is basic and the washroom lineup can often be killer. sometimes it feels more like a bar than a tasting room.

i'd recommend coming during the week and bringing a growler to fill up. very decent priced growler fills.

bottom line: good product, average tastingroomexperience.

holy cow the flights of beer are only $4! you can't really argue with that. that is great value right there. the place is nothing more than aroomwith a bar in it really. but, this is a breweries tastingroomso one should not expect much in terms of decor. this is where you go to drink very good, local craft beer and chat with your friends. 
 nine draft lines provide you with a selection of year round, seasonal and special brews created by the talented brewers of p49. furthermore, there's a funky infuser on one of the lines which, when i was there last was infusing jalapeno and something else into one of the beers..... my memory is a little blurry but it tasted good! i didn't try any of the food but apparently they have a changing selection of food trucks outside to help line those stomachs. 
get there early as there can be queues due to the strict bc liquor/capacity laws. and then settle in with good friends, good chat and good beers. you can even take a 6 pack, bomber or growler home with you after. tidy.
