crappy sign out front. i have been waiting for this restaurant to open since spring, and when it did i was one of the first customer there. up by the highway they have a crappy, cheap sign that does not reflect the tastefully decorated restaurant or the outer deck ( has no view though).i decided on the black bean soup, ( i am from cuban decent), and i know what this soup is suppose to taste like and this soup is waaay off tasted like hot water and cilantro. i then selected the carne asada and i was pleased with the amount of food i got, i did compare it to another of my favorite mex restaurants , (oscars) while i got more food here than oscars the taste fell short steak was rubbery but i was excited to see that someone took the time to slice up some real avocado and plate presentation was ok , the poor taste had alot to do with the worlds worst tortillas, ( they were gummy , thick and under prepared for a flour tortilla), the service was great, the margaritas were not 2 for 1 and weak for the price.i tried one of the house specialty margaritas and it was very good. i give it a overall 6 and hope they get better by spring of 2011 cause it is convienent to me and look forward to a margarita on their deck..
