slow service but a terrific meal. during a visit in fall 2011, my companion and i found this restaurant to be overbooked and packed. we waited for a while at the bar, and then waited quite a while longer at the table for service. we ordered our beverage and meal choices at the same time and then waited a long time more; we were only seconds away from walking away, when our drinks and appetizer finally made it to the table. the calamari was delicious. hand breaded, perfectly fried and served with an asian flavored dipping sauce. every last bite was enjoyed. a spicy tuna roll was also ordered and enjoyed. my companion raved about his butterfish (escolar). both the presentation and the flavors were fantastic. my fiery udon noodles were terrific. however, i had asked for tofu but was served chicken. no matter, there is little that i don't eat. i have been to this restaurant a few times in the past, and have always enjoyed the food although i do believe the quality of the food was at it's best this past time. i hope to bebacksoon, but will hope the service is better this time.
