come and enjoy filipino food downtown!. my wife and i are moving to the philippines soon and when we heard a filipino restaurant had opened downtown we decided to try it. the owner lorena, greeted us warmly and helped us decide on an order of pork adobo with spring rolls on rice andpancitbihon (noodles). the place was clean and brightly decorated with lots of posters and pictures of the philippines. the food came quickly and it was delicious and comforting on a cold winters day. the price is very reasonable and i got a nice large plate of rice covered with pork adobo, tomato, egg and green onions. i especially enjoyed the cut up pieces of spring roll. my wife also enjoyed the simple and savory taste of thepancitbihon. later lorena came to our table and was very happy to talk to us about the philippines and answer any questions we had. we were touched by how incredibly open and friendly she was. i look forward to coming back soon and trying new dishes and maybe enjoying some karaoke and a red horse (or two!).
