sorry, this was not good. it was a mistake to eat here. not sure what the rave reviews are all about. i chose this place as it was close to my hotel. when i travel for work, i always find it difficult to findfoodthat will not make me ill. this did not pass the test. the spring rolls were not made with fresh ingredients at all. a simple order of rice noodle soup with shrimp and pork seemed a safe bet, but no such luck.
i am a big fan of family owned asian restaurants, not sure what this place is, but i give it a d, barely passing.

i cannot recommend pacific breeze enough, i have traveled in thailand, and this is as close as it gets.

wierd lunch. i will forgive a place that is just average if they knock it out of the park on service, but this place is average with below average service, and as i say, downright wierd. okay, so my friend and i were splitting an order. the waitress brought the wrong entree. not realizing that it was the wrong thing, we split it into two plates. then the waitress came out and said it was the wrong thing. the dishes look totally different, so you would think that she would know the difference even if we did not. (there were very few customers so should not have been difficult to recall who ordered what. i thought it could be right because different restaurants do make dishes differently, right?) so, clearly, thefoodcould not be re-served to another table, but even with her mistake, she took it back instead of leaving it, and then we were left to wait again for our correct meal. i was astonished that she took it back, only to presumably throw it away, and then have us wait for them to correct their mistake. no water refills throughout the meal. then forgot to give me my credit card back whenn paying. i had to drive all the way back there. i am positive that she did not give me my card back, but lo and behold it was she that was that same waitress when i went the next day to get my card. she made a big point of saying that she left it on the table and i forgot to pick it up. not only is that rude of her to press the point, but it was absolutely wrong. i am never going back to this twilight zone place again.

good thai memories. pacific breeze is a vietnamese, thai restaurant. it is very easy to miss from the road and the outside is plain lacking something to catch your eye and allure you in. in fact i would have never went to this place had i not been in the car when some friends went there to pick up some lunch. they kindly offered me a thai salad roll (fresh lettuce, carrots, vermicelli, bean sprouts, tofu and cilantro wrapped in rice paper )with a dab of peanut sauce. one bite and i was in love. i decided to take my husband there to try their pho and it was delicious! and they didn't lack on the toppings which some pho places do. we were hooked. it was a great place to go on a cold rainy day. if you are not into pho they have great curries, stir fry and more. i have also heard they have great thai ice teas. in fact we had one friend who claimed that he had the best thaifoodwhen he was in ny (which i believe). whenever we took him to a thai restaurant he was deeply dissapointed. however when we took him here he was pleased. hey that has to mean something right! so i definitely recommend giving pacific breeze a try!

great food. love the # 13 tom kha coconut soup. i could eat it everyday. we usually get the vegetarian as the veges are plentyful and very lightly steamed before being put in the broth so they are not overdone . you can also get meat if you choose. it does take a bit to get yourfoodas it is cooked fresh to order. but well worth the wait.

fantastic thaifoodin tigard!. you can't beat pacific breeze. the quality of thefoodis excellent. it is always fresh (if you order to-go, expect a 15 - 20 min wait -- they make it fresh!) we like typhoon! once in a while, but for quality and price, you can't beat pacific breeze. given the choice between the two, we'd pick pacific breeze 9/10 times. what a score for this much deprived suburb! :) love the panang curry, pad gau prau, pad kee mao, tom yum soup, - delicious!

hidden gem. this restaurant is tucked in off pacific hwy and durham rd and is hard to spot. i did not even know it existed until my mom took me there today. i must say i am glad she showed me this little gem because thefoodwas delicious.
we started off with item 3. fried egg rolls (meat $4.75) beef to be exact. for our entrée, i had menu item 62. bun dac biet (combination lemongrass chicken, thinly sliced pork, grilled shrimp & fried egg rolls $8.50) and my mom had item 28. pad ruam mit w/beef (sautéed garden fresh with bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, green beans, baby corn & bean sprouts in garlic sauce $7.50)
my mom requested that our fried egg rolls be the "skinny ones". she mentioned that she like the skinny version better as they come cut up in bit size pieces with a dipping sauce. my main dish was served in a bowl over noodles while my mom's was served on a platter with a bowl of rice on the side. it being my first time here i ordered it medium heat while my mom went with hot. both dishes were great and the hot not being as hot as you might think, it was spicy but not burn your tongue off hot. i like spicyfoodso my definition of hot might be different from yours. i only received two grilled shrimp with my dish which was a bit disappointing but they were tasty. overall the dishes had a lot of flavor and had me looking for more.
the restaurant is clean, the help friendly, and the menu hearty…85 items to be exact. i look forward to taking my wife there to see what she thinks.
