opening week for the crew that bought you tipo and we were impressed. the food was lovely with the highlights being the pork liver sausage and the nettle gnocchi. the interiors are sharp, but could honestly still smell the newly painted walls. service was prompt, but it wasn't relaxed and we felt like we couldn't 100% enjoy the experience. we'll be back in a few months.

we were looking for a table at tipo00 (1.5hr waiting time) and saw this restaurant next door and decided to give it a go. the atmosphere is phenomenal. very vibrant, good music, cute fit out. the food is exceptional. everything i would rate 10/10. had the pasta and the risotto - al dente perfection. the cocktail i had was very unique and tasted absolutely delicious. the flavours are perfectly balanced. had an amazing experience. would be recommending to all my friends!!

osteria ilaria served tapas-style italian cuisine. we went for the chef’s selection menu and the dishes that came out were simply delicious, unique and elegant. my favourites were the baby octopus n’duja, paccheri prawn pasta, and porcini mushroom croquettes. the venue was a bit small, similar to that of tipo 00, but service was pretty good, and overall it was an excellent dining experience.

brilliant place for a friday night catch up, fun atmosphere, attentive service, wine selection is varied and interesting. food was great with a wide range of enticing sharing plates and a menu that changes regularly. pricing was pretty good.

great food! service was prompt but did not feel rushed. must try pecorino cheesecake and the king prawn dish with tube shaped pasta (i forgot its name). the sheeps yogurt semi freddo was also a delicious end to the meal!

busy place right next to tip00, run by the same owner i was told by the waiter. quite reasonable price and portion! favorite main dish: corn-feed duck!
4 adults ordered 4 entrees and 3 main to share, and we couldn’t finished them all.

we came here for a birthday dinner and had a few dishes to share. the pasta wasnt well cooked but croquette was delicious. overall the standard dropped significantly but the main highlight was a cockroach on the wall!! no apologies given.

superb find in little bourke st. the smoked duck entree special was unique and my daughter’s pasta with goat was very very tasty. last dessert of warm chocolate mousse was also yum!

ordered the chef’s selection with 3 other friends, and left feeling very stuffed and happy. service was great and every dish was delicious! the highlight was the duck and the octopus which was tender and cooked beautifully, along with the sauce. we were even offered more bread to be dipped into all the amazing sauce. 😂

we were planning to go to tip00 for an early dinner without any reservation then we were told there is two hours waiting time. so we decided to go to this restaurant instead.
this restaurant wasn't very crowded when we first arrive and getting really busy as the night went past on a weekday night. for the food, the highlight for us were the calamari dish and the pasta dish. there were delicious. the octopus dish that the waiter highly recommended for us tastes too overwhelming for us. the sauce was too strong that it cover the taste of the octopus.
service was very friendly and lovely ambience.

came here with a couple of friends, after wanting to try the food for so long. we absolutely loved the chefs selection. mushroom croquettes were a standout, as well as the duck pasta and the olive/choc mousse dessert. great modern atmosphere, also appreciated the clean bathrooms! will definitely return.

the $90 chefs menu was well worth the price. such amazing flavours and quality, and really filling which is the one thing some chef’s menus lack.
they catered to my friend’s dietary requirements and the service was friendly and fast.
the duck parpadelle was amazing!!! the coffee dessert was so delicious. loved every bite of food and will go back for sure.
