a very good place and good interiors. food also was great. loved the pasta and honey chilli potato.staffalso was good and helpful.

they have two sides, pub and fine dining. ambiance overall in both the section is good. food was fresh andstaffwas very friendly. good service in a non-crowded hours.
it has mall road view just in case anyone wondering.

we are from kolkata and we were intrigued by the bright light emanating from this restaurant while walking down mg marg. hence, we decided to dine in.

location: it is located on the second floor of norbula complex. spotting it while walking down mg marg is very easy. rating: 4.5/5

ambience: this is a fine dining restaurant that has a separate area for the families where drinks are not served. the restaurant is spacious and well lit. the decor is minimal yet classy. rating: 4.5/5

staff: thestaffis extremely courteous and the service is very quick. rating: 5/5

food: coming to the food, we tried out the chinese dishes as follows:-

1. chicken steamed dumplings (inr 220): 6 pieces of authentic chicken dumplings were served with a sauce. the sauce was made with turmeric and chilli powder which was a complete let down. however, the dumplings made up for it with the scrumptious filling of chicken and veggies. rating: 4/5

2. chicken noodles (inr 235): we had ordered 2 plates and the quantity was sufficient for 3 people. the noodles were well-flavoured and the veggies, eggs, and chicken chunks were properly infused with flavours. rating: 4.5/5

3. crispy chilli chicken (inr 290): this dish had several pieces of shredded chicken tossed in authentic asian spices along with capsicum and onions. the taste was good and so was the quantity. rating: 4/5

our dining experience had cost us inr 1029. though the price is on the higher side compared to its competitors, osm is a restaurant i would like to revisit and recommend.

the place has a very nice enthralling ambience and a very good taste of food. variety in menu. skilledstaffand nice seating area. worth visiting.

we visited osm for two consecutive days for lunch. the food is delicious, the service is in-time and thestaffis courteous. on day 1, we tried prawns angara, paneer chutneywala, chicken botywala (must try) and tandoori roti. on day 2 we tried the sizzler, prawns angara (must try), handi masala (turkey, in menu only for christmas) and chicken steak

visited on 6th october and the place was full with lots of people waiting in queue, but bimla managed to get us a table very fast. thanks bimla for prompt service. allstaffare very polite. we ordered zeera rice and moorgh baroodi (chef's special), mock
tail & alcoholic drinks. service was excellent and very attentive. food tasted awesome. a nice restaurant to visit in gangtok.

have been to many places in my time outing in gangtok and then one of my friend suggested this place..dropped by with my wife and to our surprise it didn't disspoint me at all... firstly thestaffwas amazing too warm , friendly and made us feel like we have actually come out and they are there for us for anything we did to have a great time ... secondly the food we just ordered few starters and they all were amazing the reason y i didn't give 5 rating as there was one dish i didn't like was ..sweet dish which is called fried iccream... otherwise would have given 5 rating to this place .. it a perfect place to go to with u being a tourist .... thank you very much for serveing us it was awesome experience ... if we drop by again to gangtok we shall surely drop by your place..thanks a lot

located in the city centre..the place is on first floor. no lift. there is no culture of lift in gangtok stores or restaurants. the place is done up well.

the only place wherein i have given such a low rating to the staff. we had to wait for table to be cleaned or order food. since we had lots of shopping bags in our hands, we requested for a larger table of 6 so that we could manage eating well. we requested for a table right across where we were seated. on our request, they immediately kept the reserved tag on the table to deter us from sitting there. later we noted that the table was given or don’t know if reserved for four members only. so this was disappointing. overall, we did not have a pleasant experience with thestaffexcept for one guy who was on his toes to please us.

awesome resonates well with it’s name. the food was excellent.chicken starters were amazing. kadhai chicken was good too.their dal makhani was even better than the chicken. it was amazing. loved everything bit of it. taste of food made up for all our spoilt mood because of the staff.

had 4 meals here during our 3 day stay in gangtok... had kuku in basket, grilled chicken, tandoori momos, chicken platter and thupka...all.of them.outstanding...my son fell in love with their noodles which were awesome. the quantity and taste both were wonderful

apart from food,staffwas extremely courteous and pleasant. love this place and highly recommended.

ambiance wise i loved this place. it's lovely cozy and has great ambiance. they have nice liquor menu andstaffare polite.

however the food didn't taste so great. i loved the soup but apart from that everything we had was bland.
i would have given a 3.5 if it was possible.

i was in gangtok in first week of december and this restaurant came to our rescue on my birthday. this is one of the very few places in gangtok that takes orders beyond 10 pm with smiling faces. they have two seating areas - one is lounge which has live music and other one is the fine dine area. the ambience is pleasant and lit. they have various cuisines but we went for north india cuisine. food was tasty and was served quickly. do try their cocktail called vompom. it was suggested by theirstaffand we liked it a lot. thestaffis very friendly and co-operative specially jeevan. thanks to osm else i would have slept hungry on my birthday.
