a verygoodplace andgoodinteriors. food also was great. loved the pasta and honey chilli potato. staff also wasgoodand helpful.

they have two sides, pub and fine dining. ambiance overall in both the section is good. food was fresh and staff was very friendly.goodservice in a non-crowded hours.
it has mall road view just in case anyone wondering.

arguably the best restaurant on mg marg, the ambience borders on fine dining. the servers are very courteous and friendly.

we had ordered a chicken fried rice and chicken thukpa. both were very tasty and fulfilling. the rice was fluffy and flavorful with a lot of chicken, egg and veggies. the thukpa was not too spicy and very homely. the quantities were verygoodas well.

we are from kolkata and we were intrigued by the bright light emanating from this restaurant while walking down mg marg. hence, we decided to dine in.

location: it is located on the second floor of norbula complex. spotting it while walking down mg marg is very easy. rating: 4.5/5

ambience: this is a fine dining restaurant that has a separate area for the families where drinks are not served. the restaurant is spacious and well lit. the decor is minimal yet classy. rating: 4.5/5

staff: the staff is extremely courteous and the service is very quick. rating: 5/5

food: coming to the food, we tried out the chinese dishes as follows:-

1. chicken steamed dumplings (inr 220): 6 pieces of authentic chicken dumplings were served with a sauce. the sauce was made with turmeric and chilli powder which was a complete let down. however, the dumplings made up for it with the scrumptious filling of chicken and veggies. rating: 4/5

2. chicken noodles (inr 235): we had ordered 2 plates and the quantity was sufficient for 3 people. the noodles were well-flavoured and the veggies, eggs, and chicken chunks were properly infused with flavours. rating: 4.5/5

3. crispy chilli chicken (inr 290): this dish had several pieces of shredded chicken tossed in authentic asian spices along with capsicum and onions. the taste wasgoodand so was the quantity. rating: 4/5

our dining experience had cost us inr 1029. though the price is on the higher side compared to its competitors, osm is a restaurant i would like to revisit and recommend.

located in the city centre..the place is on first floor. no lift. there is no culture of lift in gangtok stores or restaurants. the place is done up well.

the only place wherein i have given such a low rating to the staff. we had to wait for table to be cleaned or order food. since we had lots of shopping bags in our hands, we requested for a larger table of 6 so that we could manage eating well. we requested for a table right across where we were seated. on our request, they immediately kept the reserved tag on the table to deter us from sitting there. later we noted that the table was given or don’t know if reserved for four members only. so this was disappointing. overall, we did not have a pleasant experience with the staff except for one guy who was on his toes to please us.

awesome resonates well with it’s name. the food was excellent.chicken starters were amazing. kadhai chicken wasgoodtoo.their dal makhani was even better than the chicken. it was amazing. loved everything bit of it. taste of food made up for all our spoilt mood because of the staff.

this is the place to be on a saturday night. right in the middle of mg road, the only thing you will see is the well lit place on first floor. butt.... the moment you climb those stairs, you can hear live electric guitar and drum beats. may be it was this saturday only or it happens every sat, but the atmosphere there was electric. bollywood songs on electric guitar with a drink in hand is what you need on agoodholiday. the music place is small so it s pretty loud and packs a punch.

just 5m away is the nice resteraunt which is part of osm only. had kadhai chicken and roti here. chicken was perfectly cooked.

staff is really efficient and corteous. something i saw across aces in gangtok.

slightly on the higher end as compared to other outlets. we spent 500/- for chicken roti.

costly ....food was not worth it .....ambience is good...the bar section isgoodwhere the band performances were going on....we took some paneer gravy the taste was horrible and its better not to comment on mix veg...
