osaka sushi restaurant

love it!. osaka is the best place to have sushi in lexington! the chef is so nice! the secondtimewe went he had my create my own roll! i like how small and intimate it is.

excellent experience with delivery.. i ordered delivery from osaka for the firsttimetonight. i ordered spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, hibachi chicken, and hibachi veggies.
the website said 30-60 min for delivery, they were here in 30 minutes (saturday night delivery). delivery charge was only $1.50.
the sushi was good, well priced, seemed fresh.
the hibachi meals were packaged well, came with a ton of rice. no soggy food here, as you can sometimes get with delivery. excellent portion of chicken. very happy with these.
i was very happy with meal here. i will get delivery again and will dine in sometime as well.

best sushi / best sushi chef. by far our favorite place in lexington for sushi, and the service is outstanding. the owner/sushi chef goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, and we actually are greeted and made to feel like family the second we walk in the door. it has the feel of a local, familiar, neighborhood gathering place. my favorite dinner is the osaka dinner special "a" with the grilled salmon... delicious! but our favorite over-all are the rolls... first of all, they are beautiful and very well presented. secondly, they are mouth-watering and absolutely to die for... our very favorites are the rockin' tuna roll with tempura crunch, and the derby roll, topped with mounds and mounds of shredded "crab" meat... the best part, is the chef/owner's huge smile and enthusiastic personality... all this, and more, makes osaka our place to go for delicious and authentic japanese food in a wonderful setting and amazing service,timeandtimeagain, and we don't go anywhere else. love it!!!

my husband and i have been looking for a food sushi restaurant. we were so excited to find osaka! the rolls were delicious and were huge. the nigiri was also very good. we will definitely be going back. the owner/chef spent sometimetalking with us and was willing to make any roll we could create. definitely recommend!

wish i'd brought some home..... totally loved this place!! welcomed immediately upon entering and treated to a delightful conversation with the most wonderful sushi chef! started with uni sashimi and beef tataki.... both done very well! the chef then asked me how i liked the spiciness of my sushi rolls and proceeded to deliver perfectly prepared sushi with a personalized touch. we had an osaka express, rock n roll tuna, fantasy dream (think that was the name), and a baked eel roll of some kind. the last couple rolls were entirely left to the chef's discretion --- winning plan! he'd also suggested that i try the fire scallop appetizer since it was our firsttimethere! it was super yummy and not something i'd probably have known to order! can't wait to go back............ very soon!!

everytimei eat sushi somewhere else, i think to myself..."i should have gone to osaka!"

great sushi, great prices. the sushi at osaka is great! always fresh, maki/rolls are bigger and better than other places in town. the fish is always fresh and is cut generously. their spicy tuna is perfect, and the yellowtail always melts in your mouth. the service is good too, and the prices are right where they should be.

the sushi chef cares about his customers, and will even ask if he can prepare something that you ordered better for you next time. throw in the fact that he will take a free sake shot with you, and you've got one cool joint to frequent with your friends!

oh, and you get a free freshly cut pineapple for desert!

a small and very personal sushi place. the owner and chef are wonderful. they have made dishes for us in the past that were not even on the menu. onetimethey made a nemo out of a shrimp for my daughter reagan for no reason other than they remember us when we go there (even though we don't go nearly as much as we would like. if it were up to me, we could eat here daily. look at the photos to see the nemo.
