sushi was really good and they had some different takes on the rolls ive never seen before in other sushi restaurants. the deck space was nice to have on such a gorgeous day and the drinks were priced really well (can't complain about 4.50 beer) . i will say that theservicewas slow. when we ordered initially it was kinda slow but when we arrived two other tables arrived and ordered right around the same time so we thought it was timing. (there was no one in the restaurant just a couple tables on the small deck) so we decided to order another roll to split and that!second order took at least 30 minutes to arrive - by this time we really just wanted to wrap up lunch. of course it was hard to complain about the amount of time they took because they were very delicious.

either way, next time i go i will just understand they seem to take a bit longer at this place, but because the quality of the sushi this will not be our last visit!

our server was very sweet and attentive. my friend and i had edamame and vegetable tempura to start and then samba and volcano rolls. all the food was fresh and delicious andservicewas excellent. the ambience of the restaurant was also great. it was too cold to eat on the patio, but inside was nice and private with music at just the right volume to visit. i will be back regularly!

i was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.  the sushi rolls were the perfect bite sized and very tight.  service was good and the seating comfortable.  my only negative comment is that the menu is limited.  the chef should consider adding some nigiri.

not as expected...disappointment. if you're looking for authentic korean/japanese, this isn't a place for you. fusion food, lost it's original taste and pricy as well for what you get.serviceis too slow...waited 30 min. for appetizer and salad to come. no refill for pop, so be aware of extra charges.

great place for a coffee. even though most people know it as a japanese restaurant, few know that it has a fullserviceespresso bar offering americanos, lattes and otherwise. combine that with their great deck and convenient location, it makes it a great place to meet friends for an afternoon coffee break.

find over priced, andservicewas horrible. watched the couple next to me order a nice bottle of wine, and start drinking then to find that when they go to order the restaurant has no more rice. maybe could have indicated this straight away?

delicious!. i always enjoy the food and theservicehere. my favourite items are agedashi tofu, the crispy roll, and tonight i fell in love with the dolsot bibimbap! so yummy.

service issues are starting..... this is one of my favorite places but i have had some disappointing experiences recently. most recently, i ordered their burger for lunch and instead of coming in a bun it came between two slices of toast. i asked what happened and the waitress said that they run out of buns and felt that two slices of toast instead of a bun was acceptable. i sent it back. she did not seem happy with me nor did she apologize.

fun place and good food. i enjoy orange izakaya. it is hip and modern. i tend to stick with the tapas which are imaginative and, most of the time, very well executed. their sushi rolls are excellent: i especially enjoy their orange special roll. theserviceis usually very good, but can vary somewhat depending on the waitress. i like that it stays open later than many other restaurants near downtown. on the whole, this is one of my favourite places in the city.

terrile service. i posted this on another site as well, but i thought that i would include it on urbanspoon...

although the food was pretty good, theservicewas awful. not only did they spill a beer on me, they charged me for it. it took over 45 minutes to receive the bill (we has to ask for it at the end of the meal, the server, who only had two tables never came back to ours to clear our dishes) and even then it was incorrect. i contacted the restaurant to follow up and advise management about the experience we had, and i never heard back.

we are easy going customers who are not demanding. i understand that servers have bad days, and even when the beer was spilled on me, i did not get upset. what makes me upset is the consistent terrible service, with no appropriate follow-up from management.

there are many great restaurants in regina - avoid this one.

yum!. we had a really lovely time at orange. we shared 3 tapas dishes and the volcano roll. it was all very delicious. goodserviceand decent ambiance.

good food, great ambiance!!. this is a really nice little place. we shared some sushi and had some wine. the gyoza was also pretty good. michi still has my vote on best sushi in the city, but orange izakaya had some really good and inventive sushi rolls. theservicewas really good and it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy your dining experience. i will definately go back and try more menu items!

good food, sketchy service.. i like this restaurant and eat here frequently but we are not always happy with theserviceor restaurant policy. it seems like when everything goes smoothly with the food andservicethat everything is fine but when there is a mistake or accident that their policies are not great. for example if the food takes so long to come that you can't stay to eat it you are not given any money off or even any sort of real apology. if they could remedy this it would be an excellent restaurant with great food. one real plus is that they will make most of their dishes vegetarian and are quite accommodating to special food needs.
