1st brunch at open flame. my husband and i we're looking for agoodbrunch and thought we'd try open flame......i'd been wanting to for a while. upon arrival we we're told it would be 20-30 minutes.... totally acceptable at 10:30 on a sunday. the hostesses we're 3 teenage girls who didn't really know what they we're doing. they we're handing out the little light up things (what are they called!?). about 10 minutes into our wait a couple who came after us was seated (no they did not have reservations)......15 minutes into our wait one of the girls proceeded to ask all of the guests waiting what ours we're number on our light up thingy.......they somehow didn't write down everyone's number. onto wait staff.....ryan, our server was wonderful. very attentive but not too much. everything was served in a timely manner as well. i got the corned beef hash skillet and it came with pancakes. the hash was less than mediocre. bad texture and dry. the pancakes on the other hand was the best i'd ever had..........fluffy buttery and served with plenty of butter and warm syrup. final thought? i'd come again and make a reservation and choose a different menu option.
