make a reservation in advance as this place can get quite busy especially on weekends. the food is nice but they have limited vegetarian options. the menu is inflexible if the place is crowded. the ambience is beachy and lively. the views are prettygoodand the location is great. one can take a nice walk along the wharf or take a 5 min drive to point cartwright. service was good, people were very considerate when we were waiting for our table.

coming from melbourne, i know agoodcafe when i see one, and one on la balsa cafe is just that! it’s a local gathering spot, where everyone knows everyone, and finding a table is a mission as it’s the only cafe in the area.

just what the doctor ordered. i arrived at this place with a group of friends extremely hungover. the service was incredible, very friendly and the meal came out in perfect timing. i ordered from the breakfast menu and all ingredients were extremely fresh, and cooked to perfection. the juice was sogoodthat i went back and ordered a smoothie. aaa+++ and will definently be returning, great location and extremely clean and welcoming.
