this is probably the best and the oldest place in bangalore to buy bakery items. been going to this place all my life. their milk biscuits are unparalleled. their salt biscuits, dilpasands and plum cakes are to die for. they have the fluffiestpuffsin town. every bangalorean loves this bakery!

those butter biscuits and the coconut biscuits take me back to my childhood in an instant.the cakes,puffsand dilpasand is the best you can get in this part of bangalore. literally an og bakery

it was crowded even on a monday afternoon!!! had to wait 5 mins to get my turn, but the counter guy was so kind and patient.
milk rusk - best ones i have ever had so far. britannia rusks are heavy but these are light and so crispy.
sweet & salt, dry coconut, butter & cashew biscuits were all tasty and fresh.
nippat and vegpuffswere good too.
plum cake & dry fruits cake - yummyyyy.
lastly, fruit puff (dil pasand) - a must try.

variar bakery as most people call it, has been around for years now, dishing out some of the best milk biscuits, sponge cakes, butter biscuits, rusks amongst the other delectable items they've got on their shelves, in the north-east side of bangalore. you're assured of good quality of snacks which you can taste in every bite of any item that you buy off their shelves. taste of all their snacks is very rich and you can sense the aroma of butter and nuts opening up in your mouth beautifully and coating the back of your tongue with butter. their sponge cakes just melt in your mouth and leave behind the good taste of their soft crust. thepuffsare crispy with quality filling inside.

they have two outlets in rajajinagar. both of these outlets are usually crowded and you'll have to wiggle and snuggle around to reach the counter, or else you'll be waiting behind someone and stay there all day. in fact, it gets so crowded that they have a designated queue area for women.

make sure you know what all you want to buy, because it's hard to get hold of one of the hundreds of guys working inside to serve the several hundreds of people at the counter. costs of snacks here are much higher compared to an average bakery, but promises to deliver the goodness that satiates you.

variar bakery... famous little place with tasty baked products. always crowded and freshly prepared food disappears in seconds. have tried the vegpuffsand the bread, both of which were tasty!

getting used to the new normal all around with safety measures and social distancing even at restaurants and bakeries.

when it comes to their biscuits, bread or the rolls, the freshness of every item stands apart. be it the crunchiness of thepuffsor the softness of their honey cake, it was all awesome.
the kara biscuits were wow while the butter biscuits had their flavour which melts in your mouth.
the coconut-y jam cake was like the upgraded version of a sandwich with crispiness along with every bite.

the first thing which impressed me was the precautions taken at this place to limit the crowd. only a few were allowed in with at least 2 feet distance between each. kudos to the place for the efforts taken concerning masks and sanitizers.

parking shouldn’t be a trouble since it hardly takes a few minutes for the whole bakery experience. the service too was quick while the prices do justice to the freshness of the food served around.

the freshly baked breads, cakes and cookies andpuffsare very much tasty here in varriar bakery. rajaji nagar got this gem and serving bengaluru since ages. they have well equipped bakery and baking freshly and serving hot to customers. veg puffs, honey cake, verities of cookies are must try items.plum cakes are super soft.

one of the oldest serving bakery in bangalore. know for its delicious biscuits and cakes. the khara biscuit and fruit cake are all time delicacies. the plainpuffsis another excellent item. do t miss the japanese cake if you are around this place in the evenings.

probably the most famous bakery in bangalore, it's butter biscuits are to die for. the vegpuffsare for too.

prices could be a little more reasonable though.

i have been visiting this place from past 16yrs must say taste quality is been maintained. it’s located in the main road nr rto. items keep getting over and they refill them with freshly prepared ones. must try items are sweet and kara biscuits. beene biscuit is also good. not to forget vegetablespuffsthey are just 😋 yummm

unbeatable plum cake , coconut cookies and vegpuffs.. been a fan for 10 years. it’s so good , that at times i travel half way around the city to get these.
