mothers day buffet. went to ocean's at arthur's for mothers day brunch. the only thing that i ate that was even slightly ok was the mac and cheese and the creme' brulee. i had eggs benedict, it was cold the muffin was hard as a rock, the bacon was limp, the deviled egg wasn't edible, the cornbread dressing was dried up. the service was horrible! the waitress rolled her eye's at me twice. once when i asked about my tea, she had served everyone else their drinks but i hadn't gotten mine and again when she asked if i was finished with my plate and i said no. she was also rude to two other people in my party. the wait was at least 45 min long and ended up costing me $32.60, for this much money the food and service both should have been exceptional! i will not be returning and will tell everyone i know to avoid this restaurant! just because this restaurant is in a more affluent area doesn't mean they should charge an outrageous amount and provide mediocare food and service.

horrible mother's day brunch - may 2014!!!. went there for mother's day brunch and our experience was horrible to say the least!!! we had a reservation and they sat us after 45 mins of waiting. they prioritize the walk-ins over us who had reservations. and the biggest turn off was the owner was there seating everyone first and just passed us several times. he totally ignored us - how unprofessional for the owner!!! the food was just a repeat from their sunday brunches if you've been there on an ordinary sunday. charging more just because it's mother's day is totally a rip off!!! oh let me not forget, there were a few additions, excuse me. like the crepe station for one, where the person in charged of putting it together ( simply because the crepes itself was ready made tasted like store bought,) the poor guy didn't even get enough training to just put it together. let's not even talk about how it tasted. definitely not coming back!!!

sushi rolls were very good. my wife and son both ordered snapper, which they enjoyed. i ordered the prime rib. i figured being under the same roof with the steakhouse it would be good. i was very wrong. first, prime rib should be sliced and put on a plate. someone’s doneness preference should dictate what part of the roast it comes from. i ordered medium rare. should be a center cut. i’m not sure what i was served was even prime rib. i wish i had taken a picture to show. but prime rib should be pink/red with crusty goodness on the edges from where the entire rib roast was roasted whole. what i got was a brown, medium well, maybe 10 oz “steak”. if it was sliced from a whole prime rib roast, it was cooked again. and only being like a 1/2” thick, how could it end up medium rare? it resembled prime rib in no way, shape or form. it had been a long day and i was sure i wouldn’t like whatever they brought out to replace it, so i just ate it and moved on. i should’ve said something, but i just wasn’t in the mood. also ordered a bowl of gumbo as an appetizer. it was basically a tomato broth with some okra, tomatoes and bell pepper over rice. there was absolutely no rue for this gumbo. and other than a little shredded crab meat, i saw no seafood in the “seafood gumbo”. i was severely disappointed in a place we had high hopes for. especially after spending $180~. we were visiting the area in anticipation of moving there. once we get down there, i am not sure i’d go back. i’ll give the steakhouse a try.

sunday brunch. oceans at arthur's is the best kept secret in little rock for sunday brunch. the price is amazingly low and the food is excellent. my wife and i have been many times and the place isn't overly busy. the food and drinks are as good as it get in arkansas! the waiters are sometimes great and sometimes horrible but the food is so good you forget if you have a bad waiter.i would rate this bruch as the best in little rock. we have tryed many places for brunch and none are nearly as good as oceans at arthur's. if you read this and don't go you are missing the finest food in arkansas. i have recommened this place to many people and they all thank me and say it is the best bruch they have ever had.i call this place 5 stars out of 5.

excellent large scallops with the best potato side delicately formed into something like a light cheese fry- delicious! and the spinach was sautéed perfectly. had a bottle of the santa margherita pinot grigio alongside, great meal, fun, nice upscale atmosphere.

very disappointing. my husband and i were so excited to try oceans, but it was just really not good food. the service and drinks were amazing!! but my sushi was sub-par and my husband commented that his seafood pasta tasted like lean cuisine. yuck. i would totally go back for drinks and apps but other than that, i'll pass.

new fav sushi place! oysters on the half shell too. the sushi rice in the sushi is prepared in a way that i think they know what they are doing here. the fish is fresh and the cooked rolls are great. most of the time i love the oysters. i have had a batch i wasn't liking a lot though. i'm picky about oysters... ok?

amazing. we went on a double date to ocean's on july 6, 2013 for our anniversary. we made reservations for 6:30 and were expected and greeted with a warm wecome when we arrived. our waiter was adorable and very charismatic. he was a riot the whole evening. there was a large high school reunion going on in the main dining area so we were sat in a smaller private dining room with 6 or 7 other tables. this didn't hinder our experience one bit! our every need was met. we had the oysters nola for an appetizer and they were delicious. we ordered 4 sushi rolls including one of our favorites from sushi cafe (where alex had worked before) that was not on the menu. no problem. it was better than ever. alex even made us a special dessert roll for our anniversary. everything was beyond our expectations. when our waiter asked if we would be having dessert we politely declined as we were already stuffed. he brought around forks for everyone at the table despite having turned down dessert. minutes later he brought out a beautiful plate with white chocolate brulee!! a special happy anniversary message was written on the plate in chocolate. i was so nice. ocean's made our anniversary special and we cannot wait to dine there again. 5 stars!!
