over rated. i went for dinner and was disappointed. i ordered a pasta dish with crab and the pasta was over cooked and the crab lacked flavor. the atmosphere is beautiful but that can only go so far if the food is poorly executed.

what didn't i love. super friendly server, food was extreamly fresh & flavorable. my favorite was the ceasar salad. it had shaved parm & perfectly seasoned "home made" croutons. yum!

pretty good place, the atmosphere is geared towards older folks and maybe jimmy buffet fans. not very vegetarian friendly (they were out of the one vegetarian dish and offered no alternative), i ended up ordering a salad and side of fries and wasn't even offered ketchup. boyf really enjoyed the mahi+crab dish!

some friends introduced me to this great restaurant at lunch today in the beautiful old town section of st. augustine. we enjoyed our fresh seafood entrees while admiring the lovely landscaping on the patio in front of the national historic register original coral rock building. stunning food, place, friends, & day. check it out!

i've eaten here a few times. brunch was good when i was in a few years ago. drinks were reasonably priced, but i was very disappointed with the mahi sandwich. i was pleased that i was able to get steamed veggies instead of fries, but the piece of mahi was tiny. it was barely thicker than a 1/4" and was 1/2 the size of the bun at best. between the bun, lettuce, tomato, and some tartar sauce, they could have left the fish off and you wouldn't notice. not trying to slam the place because it's nice atmosphere, but for a $14 fish sandwich, it could have been more fulfilling.

consistent, great food. i had the grilled shrimp & grits and my wife had fried shrimp from the lunch menu. clean taste. we've only dined outside... but why waste a beautiful day indoors??? beautiful place inside and out.
our waiter, robert, is a pro! he understands customer service better than anyone in st. augustine. timely, knowledgeable, personable and sooo friendly. he was very entertaining.
we've dined at oc white's several times and has been an excellent experience every time.
by the way, free parking across the street when you show your recept. we'll be back with family and friends.

it was clean. cooked appropriately but as bland as bland could be. also didn't serve rice with grouper. we could have gone to captain dees for more flavor. good singer. really really disappointing.

rude this place is nothing .... rude
this place is nothing but a trap. it is a beautiful place. beyond that it's terrible.
the staff was so rude we never got past the drinks when we walked out. could be a great place with a change of management.

pass on oc's. we have tried several local outdoor dining spots while in st. augustine. oc's outdoor dining location and atmosphere was lovely but the food and service were sub par. we ordered crab cakes as an appetizer and got 1. my crab legs were cold. not luke warm, cold, with water dripping out of them. my husband had the surf and turf and the steak was amazing, but it didn't make up for the service, where we had to ask for water 2 or 3 times and our plates sat on our table long after we finished. it was $80 for 2 and definitely not worth it.

weary traveler oc white didn't meet expectations. as with several of the other posting - nice location and music. and the menu looked appealing.
service was par.
we weren't that hungry but i always try to patronize local businesses when i travel. we had a cup and bowl of the corn and crab chowder. it was tasty however good cooks know to remove the dry bay leaves from the batch before serving. we were each given 1 tiny biscuit (like the size of a ritz cracker). i ordered the stuffed portabello mushroom appetizer- i thought i was get more than one - not. it was just ok. i think my biggest disappoint was the key lime pie - not homemade (heck we are in florida - other states have an excuse) and get this - not real whip cream - taste like cool whip. i'm glad i didn't order anything substantial i'm pretty sure it would have been more of the same. better luck down the street - i hope.

i had the tuna special with homemade guacamole and it was amazing. we also had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was the best i've ever had. our server was very sweet and attentive as well.

really nice location but that's all that's nice. the food is terrible. the $6.00 cesar salad is hands down the worst i've ever had!( does not come with the meal) we both ordered the salmon with the veg of the day and rice. the rice came from a box...no flavor and mushy. the veg was over cooked and falling apart like it was in a warmer all day. the fish was just ok. also noticed that some tables were offered bread. we were not offered any.the server was attentive and friendly. very pricey for below average meal. save your money.

great location, nice breeze, and good live music on the patio - we really wanted to like this place but just another tourist trap.

we had the gambit from the menu, chicken sandwich, crabby mahi (a specialty), shrimp abaco, and twin lobster tails. from boring to bland to flavorless to rubbery - we had it all.

service was weak - constantly had to ask for everything - had to ask to order after we were done eating appetizers. had to ask for ketchup for fries, drink refills, you name it - our experience led us to believe the staff are probably not properly trained.

if you are going here for food, just don't do it. please. we would have been better off at a chain - at least at chilis, i know what to expect. i can't understand any positive reviews and i know some chefs are better than others but even then, there should be some consistency in the establishment.

please save your money. btw, not one person finished their dinner - including the twin lobster tails.

loved everything. our table had crabby mahi, parmesan grouper and a seafood pasta special. everything was fresh, taster and prepared perfectly. our waiter michael was very helpful and mindful of our request. the bloody marys were great as well especially if u like spicy. the atmosphere was very fitting for the oldest town in america.

dinner 7/3/14 two stars-would not recommend to my friends.. great potential, location and outdoor dining area, the missing link is the chef.
ordered steamer bucket and caribbean salad. steamer bucket is served on a plate, not in bullion base as described to keep food warm. crab was good, shrimp were under cooked, mushy, tasteless and near impossible to peel. the caribbean salad was awful!! warm greens with a pile of canned mandarin orange, coconut....mush ice cream scooped into the center.

drinks, ordered the sangria, cheap wine, no brandy...oh! was that fruit...no. yuk!!
service, 3-stars, poor management is obvious.
price, 1 star, over priced, obvious they target the tourist trade and not the locals who are savvy to the mkt.
