novilhous. truly the best restaurant i have ever been to! and, i've been to quite a few. just give it a try. you will be sold.

food was good and the meat runners were very friendly and social. only problem i had was with the host when we got our bill saying my son was too big to be 5 yrs old and and charged him after saying he was free. other than that good place.

excellent. recently my wife and i went to novilhos. it was our first visit to this restaurant. we were greeted by a pleasant hostess. she verified our reservation and showed us to our table. even so the dining room was almost filled to capacity our server approached our table immediately. he introduced himself briefly, placed the wine list on the table, and inquired if we preferred sparkling or iced water, a nice touch. he also explained the uniqueness of the menu and described the salad bar and the rodizio service. he then took our wine order: two glasses of white wine and a great bottle of malbec we selected from an exquisite wine list. wine service was flawless throughout the evening.

we served ourselves twice at the salad bar which contained over 60 items: a great selection of charcuterie, an enormous array of fresh salads, a variety of hot food, and many more delicious items. then the rodizio service begun. in short intervals gauchos came to our table and carved onto our plates top sirloin, ribeye, garlic beef, pork ribs, pork sausages, chicken legs, filet mignon, flank steak, chicken wings, chicken wrapped in bacon, lamb chops, beef ribs, leg of lamb, and a few additional meat cuts we declined. when we requested a rarer cut of meat the gaucho would return almost instantly with a lesser cooked slap of meat.

from beginning to end of our visit to novilhos we found the staff professional and courteous, the food outstanding, and the ambiance brazilian.

novilhos! no thank you!!. one of the worst meals i've ever eaten. bad meat, scanty buffet, and levels of salt that could send you to a hospital!
we just ate at a fabulous brazilian restaurant in chicage, and thought we'd try out this new restaurant in factoria.
totally not worth it, and over $120 for two adults!!
don't waste your time, or your money.. i feel sick in the tummy to boot.
novilhos was full of people. i guess it has something to do with the fact that small-town bellevue has not many options and people just haven't had any better.

i go for business meetings and private to navilhos brazilian steakhouse which is very clean with authentic brazilian food. i love their buffet of salads, cheeses, vegetables. if you are meat lover and ready for the meat, flip a round tag green-side-up and servers start coming to your table with spits of roasted meats. there are many different cuts of beef prepared in various ways, lamb, pork and poultry. the quality of the meat is very good.

for my birthday this year i knew what i wanted.  i wanted to have a new foodie experience.  so my family and i went to novilhos brazilian steakhouse where they visit your table with different cuts of meat, fourteen of them to be exact.  i've always seen this and wanted to try it.  of course, after seven different meats i was full and that was with sharing with my two year old son.  when we first sat down, they served us cheese rolls.  then the salad bar beckoned to us.  there was creamy risotto, cheeses, veggies, salad, pasta, and more.  then we turned our little coin over to the red side, letting them know we were ready for meat.  the meats were all very tender and flavorful.  i also sipped a shot of fireball whiskey that paired well with the food.  it reminded me of those red cinnamon bars we'd eat as kids.  there were also three side dishes-garlic mashed potatoes, deep fried polenta, and cinnamon fried bananas.  when we were done the waiter brought over a slice of cheesecake with a candle.  it was a fun birthday with my family!

i'm a big fan of the former ipanema and the current grill from ipanema in seattle. my husband raves about work lunches at novilhos so we went for his birthday dinner - using a groupon.
the food quality started off ok - but as the night went on, we seemed to get more and more portions of charred outside/raw inside steak. yuck. the same goes for the buffet. when we first arrived i had delicious mushroom risotto off the buffet - went back to get a bit more and it was a new helping, undercooked and just gross.
the waitstaff was attentive. the meat servers (forgive me for not knowing the right terminology) were hard to understand and often seemed annoyed if i said "pardon" when i didn't hear them the first time.
overall - it was a passable meal - the pork ribs were delicious - the rest was "meh" at best. the variety of meats was lacking, they often were bland or not cooked properly (burnt and raw) and the cheesesteak, which i'm guessing they are trying to copy from ipanema - was just a bad cut of beef coated in mozzarella. flavorless and bland. this place costs just as much as ipanema and can't touch them in terms of quality. plus - no grilled pineapple, what's up with that?!

not the best.... our group was really looking forward to trying out a brazilian steakhouse and we had heard good things about this place. the salad bar was pretty good until i found a rubberband in my risotto, i wasn't interested in going back after that. the manager was kind enough to stop by to ask us about this and offer my meal to be comped (i thought this was nice and the right thing to do). unfortunately, he changed his mind when it came time for the bill and we were charged for my meal in the end. the food is okay if you like a questionable salad bar and lots of salty bacon flavored meat. i won't be back...

fantastic! you have to go!. we had my husband's birthday dinner here tonight. it was our first time and we loved it! in total there were 8 of us. it is done buffet style. they have a lavish salad bar, which happens to be the best "salad" bar i have ever experienced, and i used to live in vegas! the "salad" bar has salmon, creamy risotto, many yummy veggies, cold cuts, just a huge assortment of fresh food. then you sit and watch the meat turn over the fire on their skewers though the observation glass into the kitchen as professional looking chefs prepare your proteins. they have 17 different proteins and you can have some of all, as much or as little as you want. prepare to spend a leisurely time there with good company. drink some wine, eat slow and eat a lot. by all means, have some of their fresh dessert and their complimentary cocktail afterwards. the evening was perfect. we so look forward to bringing more friends and coming back soon.

not sure how i feel.... went with a bunch of folks for lunch the other day.

$25 pp s a bit pricey for lunch, but if you can eat the all you can eat, then it may be worth it.

meats were very good, properly cooked. side dishes, except for the "polenta fries" were a waste of time.

the salad bar was a bit disappointing. huge variety of things... but not very "brasileiro". most items were not very well seasoned, and not of the highest quality.

it wasn't bad... it certainly was a novelty. the staff seemed to push the drinks and desserts very heavily.

the 20% service charge for parties over six i though a bit excessive, since you essentially serve yourself 1/2 the meal.

i read some of the previous reviews of the restaurant and have to disagree. i am a regular at the restaurant and always received the best service and welcomed by everyone with nothing but a warm friendly environment. i have worked in the hospitality before so i understand coupon limitation and separate check procedures. people should always inquire about their coupons and large parties prior to the end instead of assuming one can do as they please.
as for the food, wonderful! i have been to brazil before and feel like i am back there when i come for lunch and dinner.

oh hell no. the reason i gave such a rating as i did, had little to do with the food, and everything to do with the service, and it wasn't even our server that was the problem.

so, the gathering was a friend's 30th birthday party. we showed up at 515pm, we were seated quickly, the food was solid, our server (thais) was nice and attentive, the meat servers were prompt, and no problem until we'd finished and the bill arrived. we were a party of seven people, two of whom married, so we were looking for six cheques. no we couldn't have the bill separated, so we had to do it ourselves. are you kidding me, for an 18% automatic gratuity, where most of us are spending 70+ dollars a head, and you can't do it for us? we had a physician, physical therapist, nuclear engineer and a statistician amongst our group of seven and it still took about 40 minutes to get it all sorted out. and to top that off, whilst we're waiting for our cards to return, the hostess was walking toward our table giving us the look of "it's time to get the f*** out", before she even had a chance to get the words out, i expressly told her, we've been here for 40 minutes trying to work out the situation in regards to the bill, give us a minute to get our cards back, grab our stuff and go. sufficed to say, it's not a place i shall ever return to.

rude staff - don't. this is a spendy restaurant, and i heard it was pretty good. my sister and i had decided to make the special plan of coming for late lunch on sunday. the snotty waiter was put out that we didn't have a reservatoin (even though the place was half empty). strike, then he told us he would not honor an amazon voucher for lunch, which the voucher i had does not say. then after finding us a seat, asked us some snide question about tap water? strike three. we got up and left and my sister didn't get a nice lunch. word of advice: dont' use amazonlocal to advertise if you aren't going to honor the vouchers as they are printed.

great dining experience!. what a great restaurant!!! the food was delicious and it's a neat experience with the meat skewers coming around the tables!! our server was very helpful and kept our drinks full and clean plates always on hand! great dessert as well! it's an expensive dining experience but what they heck you only live once!
