rice item is missed after waiting for 40 min. now restaurant called me to order 50 rs pepsi, so that they rectify and provide pepsi and rice. but for 50 rs pepsi, i have to pay more than 150 rs with tax. i dont know if its a good practice of extraction or services. i am a regular user of ne kitchen. they are no doubt good restaurant, but now they are falling for last few months.

i want refund cos it's just lots spicy no taste.

quite a disappointing food delivery experience. i've been here plenty of times and like their food. but the food in the delivery was not up to the mark and felt quite upsetting.

this was my first time at north east kitchen and it was a satisfying experience. ordered beef schezwan fried rice and fried pork with veg. rice rice was too good with right amount of spices. each spoon longs you for more..
fried pork was the highlight. very tender and juicy. best pork i have tasted in a long time.
the ambience was ok.. cost could have been less and i found it a bit costly..
would definitely visit again with friends.

your food is great. zomato as a delivery partner rates '0'. please consider having your own delivery team or please tie up with some delivery service that has less 'attitude'.

went with steamed beef momos for starters and trust me we could have had six more plates of the same. the sauce had the right amount of spices and the meat was cooked to perfection. chicken noodles too lived up to our expectations. we wanted to try something different from the usual. om rice was the decision we arrived at. it comprised of a large omlette with chicken fried rice in it. though the omlette was good, the chicken rice was horrible. it didn't taste anything like chicken fried rice. the only comparison we could come up with was what is served in canteens at universities (the one's we've been to).
must say that the ambience and service is extremely neat. we were also given three pieces of watermelon at the end. helped us beat the heat. if it wasn't for the om rice, this would have been a 4.5/5. this place has a wide variety of dishes one can try. you wouldn't know what it's like unless you give it a shot. swathi

great food! we went here at 5 pm after a heavy lunch, craving momos. but ended up having the main course as well. yummy starters and curries; super spicy goodness; great service; and the ambience is simple and neat. we were served fresh watermelon after our meal, which was very thoughtful of them. also, if you have special requests to suit your taste (spice levels, etc.), i'm sure they they oblige.

whenever i visit chennai, the north east kitchen is going to be on my to-go list.
